WASHINGTON (CNN) — Former President George H.W. Bush has shot down his successor Bill Clinton’s idea of a diplomatic mission under a Hillary Clinton presidency that would send him and other notables abroad to assure other nations that “America is open for business and cooperation again.”

The move came one day after Bill Clinton made the suggestion on the campaign trail in South Carolina, in response to a question from a supporter about his wife’s “number-one priority” upon reaching the White House.

Why in the world would anyone, EVER believe ANYTHING said by a professional conartist and pathological liar like Clinton????

Even if it IS on Drudge, why would anyone ever believe ANYTHING Slick would say?

That trip offer was to make it appear that GHWB was endorsing Hillary.

GWB already sort of did that when he said Hillary would make a good president.

Sits back and relishes the moment.
Hilly and Billy must be feuding about now.
Begins to take bets on how long they stay married when she loses.
Bill sure is throwing those road blocks up for her. LOLLOLLOL

For now anyway. Can’t appear to be too close to the opposition at this point.

I have no sympathy for GHB on this. He laid down with a dog and got up with herpes. Being a friend of Bill’s was the worst thing he could ever have done.

From the link:

“President Bush is excited about several of the excellent Republican candidates running for president, and looks forward to discussing their candidacy once the Republican nominee is determined.”

He's doesn't want Hillary to be president any more than the rest of us.

his wife’s “number-one priority” upon reaching the White House.

Her number one priority is to get him out of the country?

Such white trash! The Clintons would make “Mama’s Family” seem like Queen Mum’s Relations.

Appropos of nothing - has anyone ever noticed that Bill Clinton looks exactly like the “Snow Miser”?

I’m still wondering what the extra-long nose means...

Yes, with the Clintons back in the White House, America will indeed be “open for business again.” Funny business. Shady business. Dirty business.
