Where is BillyJeffs response to this "misunderstanding" of what Bush Sr role would be in this 'round the world trashing of his SONS presidency.

Will the MSM continue to ignore the outright lies? Will they challenge BillyJeff? Will his face get red and puffy and will he start pointing fingers?

I got it! Hillary will toss him out of the campaign like she did Shaneen, for making unauthorized comments.

Pass the popcorn please.

I’m going to find a good lawyer and sue both of you on behalf of Snow Miser and Heat Miser for libel.

Bill Clinton can’t understand GHW Bush’s love for and pride in his own son...he never had a father’s love.

There has always been a tradition of public comity between former Presidents, and I can't fault President Bush for trying to preserve the dignity of the Office by continuing that tradition.

I think it's a stretch to say he was ever a "friend of Bill's." President Clinton only sullies his own legacy when he attempts to abuse that tradition of comity like this, and I think President Bush did a fine job of calling him out on it without turning it into a political food fight.

Thankfully, a George H.W. Bush brain cell fired properly today. Although a rare occurrence, it’s nonetheless welcome when it happens.

President Bush is a DECENT man and a GREAT ex-PRESIDENT, things that Clinton will NEVER be!!!

Thinking that Bush would criticize his OWN SON is almost DISGUSTING!!

I remember during the 2000 campaign when Clinton started taking cheap shots at then-Governor Bush, calling him a "daddy's boy" or something like that. President Bush said in an interview (I forget with whom) that, out of respect for the office, he'd held his tongue about Clinton. He calmly told the interviewer that if Clinton continued to insult his son, the interviewer should call him and he'd tell him what he really thought of Clinton.

Clinton never again made a negative personal remark about George W. Bush for the rest of the campaign.

"...former President Bush’s chief of staff Jean Becker said that he “wholeheartedly supports the President of the United States, including his foreign policy. He has never discussed an ‘around-the-world-mission’ with either former President Bill Clinton or Sen. Clinton, nor does he think such a mission is warranted since he is proud of the role America continues to play around the world as the beacon of hope for freedom and democracy."

Clinton lying, who would have thunk'it!

I agree and GHB responded with class. Im still disappointed by the chummyness between he and Bubba of recent past.
