Kosovo will declare its independence from Serbia any day now. Serbia, Russia and a handful of other states ardently oppose this decision, but that will not stop Kosovo from breaking away. This should make us wonder: How can such a minute little province act so boldly?
A few days prior to this announcement Wolfgang Ischinger, the German diplomat responsible for representing the EU in its policy toward Kosovo, gave the world a glimpse of his vision of what Kosovo’s independence might look like. “It will be a state entity,” he said, “which will continue to be under broad international observation. The nato troops will continue to be deployed there. A further international presence of the UN and, consequently, of EU, will be ensured.” Even now the European Union is making plans to replace the UN in Kosovo.
Ultimately, this is the reason the tiny province of Kosovo can defy the powerful armies of Serbia and Russia: It has the backing of Europe.
It gets worse: The United States has been duped into supporting Germany and Europe as they back Kosovo’s quest for independence. The Serbs fought on our side in two world wars, and Germany fought against us in both of those wars. Since 1991, that alliance has been reversed, and America has supported Germany and Europe as they have helped bring about the dissolution of Yugoslavia.
History shows that Serbia is no threat to Europe or America, but Germany has routinely been a dangerous threat to Europe and the world! And whether we realize it or not, it still is today—far more so than in the past. It has often been said that truth is the first casualty of war. That probably has never been more true than in the Yugoslav wars.

Modern Germany is a danger to America?
Certainly not on purpose.
Let’s see if I understand. (If I don’t please point out where this is wrong, because I’m quite honestly baffled, and struggling to understand)
Kosovo (muslims) are seeking to be independent, of Serbia.
On one hand, given the recent history in the region, and the fact the Serbs are right there alongside comrade Putin, this would seem reasonable.
So we’re resisting Serbia, because they’re allied with Russia, but here’s where I quickly get confused — it wasn’t long ago Serbs (in then-Yugoslavia) were attacked by the Nazis, who used the Kosovo muslims to suppress resistance.

The (new) rebels in Kosovo, are those same pro-Nazi muslims - and were the enforcers back then. They hate the Jews.
The Nazis, hated the Jews.
So basically, Germany is supporting ... anti-Semites?

Well, anwser is simple.
For USA it was cheaply to use ald enemies of Serbs- nazi supporters.
All it thade to be done was re-paint them in democratic colours, teach them not to salute with right hand up in the air so much- and spitt on Serbs some more...

From what I read, Germany has been intent to split up Yugoslavia and has supported the same Fascist Allies the Nazi’s had in the Balkins....thus all of Germany’s actions in this Yugoslav war have been blatant and brutal fascism. We can call it democratic if we choose to do so, but that doesn’t make it true. This is still the country that started World Wars i and ii. And, in an unofficial way, it has already started World War iii!

Germany should be the modern day Atlantis by her own prescription. A memory of a once violent people that believed they were a superior race.

Germany played a heavy role in training and funding the terrorist separatists in Kosovo, the KLA, as early as 1991. Finally in 1996 they officially helped arm them.
The fact of the matter is that even in Bosnia you wouldn’t have had a war if it wasn’t for Germany and NATO being hell bent for war. The Bosnian Muslims, the Croatians and the Serbs agreed to not have war in Bosnia in September of 1992. No war until Germany demanded Izetbegovic not honor the agreement he signed. Germans historically don’t honor peace agreements. We have seen that time and time again and yet Germany enjoys being a whole and rebuilt nation.
In my opinion Germany should not be given any moral authority to influence Europe because they have none. Germany has lost her moral right to become an international “peace keeper” as well.
Germany is very interested in rising from under the submissive roll to the West and into an international mover and shaker…again.
nato bombed serbia. so there have been many nations involved (btw. most bombs have been droped by US air force)but this is irrelevant. it was a nato operation. so you can not blame a single country. (maybe you could blame whole EU because they/we wanted serbia bombed)but i can not see germany taking a special role in this. (btw. in WWI austria invaded serbia not germany). and you can not compare germany in 1938 to germany in 2007.

German involvment baggins in 70-es with BND suporting Croatian natiuonalists, and directly supporting Croates and Slovenians by pressuring EU to recognise independancy of that two fprmer yugoslav republics in same way that is done with Kosovo today.
Anyway, most of the Serbs rather believe that Germans are the enemies. yet again.
as far as i know most (if not all) european (at least EU) countries supported the independancy of croatia and slowenia.as far as i know we did this too. so why you pick out germany? i´m not here to judge if the bombings of serbia have been correct ot not (this is a different topic) but germany has no special interest in serbia. what goal should they have?

Germany holds a special place in the EU. The country of Yugoslavia was in the way of EU Schengen zone. Germany wanted Slovenia and Croatia in the EU & in the Schengen zone and Serbia out, therefore Yugoslavia had to be destroyed.
As of last Friday, the Schengen zone was open from Estonia to Iceland, and Poland to Portugal. Now, travel from Serbia to Slovenia is darn near impossible, and Germany in specific has "raised concerns" about opening the EU border to Serbia, "because Serbs might all come flooding in"!

History is repeating itself, IMO, the EU is becoming the rise of another German centered Fascism!
