Opposition leader Benazir Bhutto has been critically injured after a suspected suicide attack at a political rally in Pakistan.
It was believed to be a suicide attackShe is undergoing emergency surgery at a nearby hospital, Sky News sources say.
The explosion went off just after Ms Bhutto left the rally in Rawalpindi, minutes after her speech to thousands of people.

The very last report on NBC when I was watching said that she was also shot in the head and that the head shot was the one that killed her.
I noticed “head” was also included in the last photo post we had on this thread - “neck, chest and head.”
I hope the State Dept gets their non essential people out of there pronto

They just showed a video clip of that on FOX- all hell is breaking loose over there..
I realize that I am very much a hawk and pre-emptive strike person -- but if I were in charge at the Pentagon I would have people putting together a plan right now to insert Special forces troops to take security control and protection of the Pakistani Nuclear stores and facilities.
Anything from Ron Paul? I’m expecting him to suggest that the US should step in and purchase all of Pakistan’s nuclear arms.

So was it “terrorists” or the All the President’s Men (OF Pakistan) who decided to remove a dangerous political opponent or a female acting outside of her acceptable Islamic role?
We need to build a very high, very long wall all around every Islamic country, take all the Muslims outside the wall and send them back into the wall and ignore them until they evolve into civilized human beings - in maybe two or three thousand years.
I don’t think Pakistan does, either.
