Like the way you offer hard facts to dispute hard facts.

I did a Cliff's Notes for ya. The hard facts were already discussed on hundreds of Paul threads. Why repeat them when it won't change your mind anyway?

You are such the typical Paul-nut! LOL

And supporters of Fred Thompson or Hunter here aren't nuts? Well I'm sorry, Master, I a won't stray again from the GOP plant-tation! I toe the party line, I swear!

Paul deftly explained the earmark thingy already.

No he didn't. He lied about the "earmark thingy".

If lies constitute a deft explanation, then you have certainly latched onto the perfect candidate for you.

Do you have nothing to say about the lies your candidate told about his decades of earmarks?

What lies? Paul recognizes that the system stinks and it should be changed. Meanwhile, he's going to get everything afforded to him. It's no different than bitching about the IRS but taking all of your tax credits. Sheesh!

Just out of curiosity, what position do you hold in the Paul campaign?

None. I'm not even part of a Meet-up group.

I just see that Paul is expanding the GOP by bringing in new voters and returning it back to its Robert Taft roots. That's primarily the reason why I support him, he's saving the GOP's ass.

I can’t name another who claims to oppose ear-marks while writing ear-marks for himself... Can you?

I do not defend anyone. Let’s face reality please.

Not a single elected official would survive if they failed to bring back the bacon (fed bucks) to their district or state.

My closet in not empty of a potential skeleton.

I want to get their money back for the people.

That's fine and dandy.

But, wouldn't it be far more preferable to let the people keep their money to begin with?

Let's see Ron Paul try to convince the democrats or even the republicans, that it's the people's money and they deserve to keep it. The redistribution part of government, earmarks being a small part of it, should be gotten rid of.

I'll bet government would much more efficient if legislators didn't spent so much of their time trying to get earmarks into every piece of legislation.

If Paul would not propose the spending, then it could not pass. Yes, the money would go elsewhere - BUT the gynocologist would have the high ground. And his district would defeat him at the first opportunity. I hope he does not get reelected in his district. Then maybe the 72 year old can go bug a retirement community somewhere.

So you agree that Ron Paul lies when he talks about his opposition to congressional earmarks. You really do believe that his lies constitute "deft explanations".

I don't know who I should pity more, the poor misguided Ron Paul, or his rabid supporters who continue to push him into making a fool of himself.

Dr. Paul honors his constituents' request for money back to their district as all Congresscritters do

BZZZZZZZZZTTTT! Wrong answer!

There are several Congressmen who do not accept earmark requests. Rep. Flake of Arizona and another gentleman from Pennsylvania (John Peterson?) either do not accept earmark requests and/or work to reduce earmarks in spending bills.

Oh pleeeeease don’t mention TAFT - Ohio has been suffering from the misdeeds of the latest Taft curse. Gov. Taft the RINO was awful and has tainted the family name forever in my opinion.

he's saving the GOP's ass.

Total crap, and exactly the opposite of the truth. Your propaganda is amateurish at best.

If this is your idea of saving, we’re well and truly doomed.

Paul is hurting the GOP. And the Democrats and the MSM love him for it.

Forget party lines, I’d be thrilled (and shocked) if you would just stick to the facts and stop making childish excuses for your guy...

In the thousand times he talked about voting against ear-marks from the stump, how many times did he finish that sentence with “except I ear-mark for my district of course.”

???

He’s a fraud... That’s the issue.

“...deftly explains”?

This is from the main page at Hot Air. I’ve been laughing about it since Sunday, even if it is painful to watch. Ron Paul is a demented kook.
