Ok, I’m out of here.
Happy New Year all. Stay safe and Have fun.
See you in the new Year!
Planter’s Punch:
1 1/2 ounces white rum
3/4 ounce lemon juice
Dash orange juice
Thank you for your blessings Kathy.
Terrence has now gone to San Diego and is being a support there as he finishes out his 20 years.
He is now settled into an apt and life on the West Coast, and is looking forward to his retirement from the Navy!!!
He doesn’t care for it out there too much though......he loves the South! ;-) It’s more Conservative, he says!
Maybe he won’t go back out to sea...but who knows? ;-)
He is sure appreciative of the encouragement and support from all Americans, especially those here in the Canteen!
BTW...Happy New year to you and all!!!!! ;-)
Amateur Night
The streets were quiet this day
As along to work I made my way
The revelers were all sleeping, getting their rest
For tonight they would party
party their best
The party would start early and go until late
Tomorrow would be different, it had to be fate
The children would all get a sip of the wine
The drinks would flow and BOY theyd taste fine
The streets were quiet this morn as I went
It seemed like a boiler whose steam wouldnt vent
If anyone thinks that by now theyd awaken
The thing to do that is the smell of bacon
But their wives were all snuggled beside them in bed
While visions of the party danced round in their head
No bacon for you their wifeys would say
We have to sleep hard for most of the day
The streets were all quiet as I made my way
I remembered the times I had in my day
Were no longer young, we have to rest up
Tonight therell be no alcohol left in our cup
Our brains will be tiddly, well feel so good
No hangovers tomorrow, knock on wood
I cannot see what is good anymore
About winding up drunk on the floor
The streets were so quiet, I played a song
Loud on my stereo as I went along
If I wake those revelers, (Oh Dear, Oh Dear)
I will not back down, I will not show fear
If they were good employees, like me
Its already at work they would be
Normal people, tonight, dont go out for fright
For tonight, you see, is AMATUER NIGHT!

Good afternoon Sonora :)
Happy New Year!
Okay, then the next one I grab is for you!
