You must be new to FR if you havent figured that out. Actually he has been here a year longer than I have and 5 years longer than you. He must have some unusual page setup that doesn't display the polls.

However, polls of Iowa voters, NH voters, national voters, etc. all place Fred way back in the pack.As I understand it, the national Rasmussen poll puts Fred 3rd, and that is also where he stands in Iowa. He isn't campaigning in New Hampshire and is running near the bottom there.

He comes accross as a conservative who really cares and has intellectual interest in how people can cooperate in the country (and the world).
And I bet sings a great version of Combiya. And isnt that what we all want in a President?
Jeeze!

Freepers read. Probably the pollsters are registering the voters who still get most of their info from the MSM and the unrelenting barrage of ads.

I just can't believe that we are that far from standard Republican opinion.Remember the carnage of the 2006 election. We were off pretty badly on our hopes and predictions.
Remember that both Gore and Kerry came within single digit percentages of actually winning (accounting for 5% voter fraud).
Remember the rats have mounted a successful campaign to dilute the Republican party with liberals at high levels to destroy the message and dishearted the base.
We're "political geeks" compared to 99% of the population. Not everyone else follows these things even remotely closely enough to understand what's at stake.
