If not Romney then who? I like Duncan Hunter a lot but he’s going nowhere. He has no money and hasn’t run a good campaign. If we nominate a buffoon like John McCain or Mike Huckabee then we are sure to lose to the Democrats. Is that what you want SoCalPol? Do you want another Clinton or worse Obama in the White House? We can’t afford that. No matter how bad you think Romney is, he is far superior to any of the 3 possible Democrats. SoCalPol, it’s people like you who get Democrats elected!
Romney’s polling negatives are astronomical, no way he would carry a general election—even though he is well coiffed and his platform isn’t bad. Fred’s far and away our best chance against the Dems, in case his abysmal coverage in the media hadn’t clued you in to that.
