MORE THAN EVER. There is a reason paranoia is called a mental illness.
It’s a smear. Pure and simple. Guilt by association. RP is still dead wrong on a number of critical issues (islamofascism for one). I’m gonna take heat from both sides on this, and I guess I can take it. If I was hearing more about smaller government, fewer gun controls, and closed borders from the rest of the field (at least reliably so [e.g. when McCain says he’s against illegal immigration I know he’s a liar]) I would feel better.
Why did they wait until most of the votes were in to come out with this? Ron Paul is going to finish 3rd and raise millions from his “victory”.
Suggest you learn to read. Never said I was pro-RP did I? I did say he had some things right. Too many here want a government which is bigger, more nannyish and which limits our rights. Not me.
Is the New York Times anti-semite also?

William Safire Op-Ed column on involvement of Abraham Foxman in Pres Bill Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich; notes Rich's generous donations to Anti-Defamation League, which Foxman heads, and says at issue is ease with which Rich, an unpatriotic wheeler-dealer, was able to manipulate fine organizations and hungry politicians in United States and abroad into expunging all unanswered charges from his record March 29, 2001
Federal jury in Colorado rules against Anti-Defamation League in lawsuit over anti-Semitic remarks recorded from telephone conversation; privacy rights win over defamation as jury awards $10.5 million in damages to William and Dorothy Quigley for illegal taping by Mitchell and Candace Aronson, neighbors in Evergreen with whom Quigleys were feuding; ruling that league regional official Saul F Rosenthal defamed Quigleys with public remarks that relied on illegal taping puts limits on how far orga...
A lawsuit filed this week charges that the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith deviated from its civil rights work by conspiring with police agencies to spy, harass and intimidate several political groups. The suit, filed in Federal District Court in Los Angeles, accuses the defense league and its longtime San Francisco-based investigator, Roy Bullock, of obtaining confidential files about political activists from the San Francisco police and from sheriff's officers in Los Angeles and San Di...
More than a dozen people have filed a lawsuit accusing the Anti-Defamation League of invading their privacy by spying on them. The complaint, filed in San Francisco Superior Court on Wednesday, is open to all people who believe they were targets of spying by the league, an 80-year-old division of B'nai B'rith dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism.April 16, 1993
Are these the same newsletters that were discussed some time ago? IIRC Paul didn’t write or edit them.
> I spent twenty years on active duty in the US Armed Forces [how bout you?], so I know Im not a coward.<
I served two tours of duty in Nam, ‘65 thru ‘67
Yes, the NYT’s bias against Israel is well known.
Yeah, he over exagerated a bit there. I’d say 75% would be closer but then it’s been quite a while since I’ve been to DC, so he may just have the numbers correct.
They are all gangs, they just wear different colors and use different tactics. If you don’t think the anarchist gangs ELF, ALF and the such don’t want to kill people, you are really out of touch.
The consensus here on FR is that Dr. Paul is a nut, has no chance of winning and hates America. That being said why is there so much bandwidth spent trashing the guy? If he’s such a non-entity then just ignore him.
Update, especially for everyone defending the comments. The Paul campaign has just denounced them and said anyone who thinks this way is small minded.

There is probably some truth in there somewhere even if you refuse to admit it. At least that's my take on the issue.
I agree with you, and his issued statement doesn’t suffice.
The quotations in The New Republic article are not mine and do not represent what I believe or have ever believed. I have never uttered such words and denounce such small-minded thoughts.
Ron Paul, denouncing his small-minded defenders, who proceed to advance small-minded defenses.
I guess Ron Paul was just following orders when he put his name to the articles and mailed them out.
Wisdom comes with increasing age.
You will agree with him in time.
sometimes true doesn’t make it true all the time, extremist always use some bit of truth to expand to a universal truth or actually a universal lie, I can see where thinking like this is dangerous. As an American conservative,I believe in an equal, free, playing field for all,as long as the constitution and basic principles of government are for all people no matter what color, ethnic background, etc.,but I believe liberalism is as destructive a force as we face and also is based in extremism and should be(and thankfully is most of time) exposed for what it really is. God Bless America
Because they fear the truth.
Like you have to step back in fear when Buffy and Brandon walk by...
