We already heard the madrassa story. But keep any further information under your hats until the general election. Then bring it out.

Two money quotes:
All this matters, for if Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executed. Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.
AND...
In sum: Obama was an irregularly practicing Muslim who rarely or occasionally prayed with his step-father in a mosque. This precisely substantiates my statement that he "for some years had a reasonably Muslim upbringing under the auspices of his Indonesian step-father."

It seems to me that the real issue continues to be missed. I don’t see it as critical that Obama was a muslim and now claims to be a Christian (of some odd sort). What is critical is that in the eyes of 1.4 BILLION muslims, because he was listed as a muslim at some point in his past, he is now an APOSTATE muslim...and they are duty bound to kill him. Now the dems keep going on about the importance of making nice with the world, and yet they want to select an individual who would be viewed as an affront to 1.4 Billion inhabitants of that world. Clearly libs are a sad combination of hypocrites and idiots.

Happy New Years expatguy,
this might be a good time for you to chime in.
Everyone can read expatguy’s blog, http://laotze.blogspot.com/ , where he did excellent footwork regarding Obama’s time in Indonesia.

IIRC, Obama is 46 years old, so he was born in 1961. The years mentioned in the article are 1967-1971. So Obama was 6-10 years old at the time. I don’t know how it worked in your family, but when I was that age, my parents decided where I went to church and where I went to school. Since Obama’s father was Muslim, it seems totally logical that he attended Muslim religious services and Muslim religious training at school. I do not think attacking him because of a decision his parents made is going to be successful.
Sure, Muslim fanatics are going to want to kill him because he is now a practicing Christian. Like they don’t want to kill George Bush?

I don't think the guy kneels at any altar except the altar of Socialism.
OTOH, its all academic because as far as I understand it the only way he'll get the nomination is to create a real revolt against the party establishment and its super-delegate firewall. Not likely, IMO.

The worst thing I can say about Obama is he’s a card-carrying Democrat. By definition that means he believes in Al Gore’s global warming hoax, amnesty for illegal aliens, and having unelected judges make laws. However, Obama is the best person the insane Democrats have.

Gee, no sh . . . . . . kidding!!!
Sad to say, too many voters won’t respond to this. If you want to discredit Obama, you need to start making comparisons to one Jimmuh Carter. When he ran for president, as incompetent as he was, Carter had at least been a state governor. Obama can’t even claim that.
But look at the way he DOES compare to Carter:
1. Carter claimed to be a Washington outsider.
2. Obama claims he is a Washington outsider.
3. Carter claimed that he could change the way business gets done in Washington.
4. Obama says he will be the instrument of (all together now) “C-H-A-N-G-E”.
5. Other than his record as a mediocre governor (a one-termer at that, I believe!), Carter had no major political experience and brought nothing but Rosalyn, Amy, and his brother Billy to the WH.
6. Obama’s claim to fame appears to be a record in the Illinois state house that rivals John Kerry’s in the U.S. Senate (although without Kerry’s longevity), and 2 years in the US senate. Not exactly a glowing resume for a president.
(For those from Rio Linda, Kerry’s biggest accomplishment in the US Senate has been to keep dust from collecting on his senate seat and marrying wealthy widows)
We’ve had one Carter, and we don’t need a sequel!!

...Obama was born a MuslimI stopped reading right there. Not a single person has ever been born a Muslim. Or a Christian for that matter. Religion is something you choose to believe in, not something in your DNA.

Repubs making a huge mistake by skipping this part of the exam - which thus far; they have.
Meantime, the only truth of Media Matters are the lies it propagates by the name of Soros and the pen of Brock.
Daniel Pipes needs major and serious exposure - on Fox News and maybe guest on Glenn Beck - for CNN audiences. And Repubs need a weekend to find some backbone and perhaps Pipes - along with a few other 'seminar' leaders, could provide some.

Re Islamic law/dictums. . ."Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world."
More than likely; he would be challenged to return to his Faith. . .with full Islamic 'bore'. . .
It is incredible; while this aspect of Obama's candidacy has been 'touched' on; so little appreciation has been shown as to it's genuine implications here of a 'President' Obama. . .not to mention, 'Commander-in-Chief'.
