Just days after announcing his campaign was literally moving to South Carolina, Fred Thompson is enjoying a remarkable spike in support across the state and from donors around the country. "From contributors on the internet, to voters packing his South Carolina events, even to pundits praising his debate performance, Fred Thompson is on a roll. We see the fight in South Carolina as critical. And we see Fred in fine fighting form,” declared campaign manager Bill Lacy. Key Stats and Information: The campaign has raised more than $300,000 online just since Fred’s dominating debate performance on Thursday night. Fifty-six percent of all online donors since Thursday night are first-time contributors. We have had 14,296 contributions since the Iowa Caucus with an average contribution of $98.

Very encouraging.
Over at Intrade, Thompson shows a 3.8% chance of winning, ahead of Romney and behind McCain & Huckabee (still embedded in the field along with Hunter and Paul) so if followers put their money where their mouth is, they could make money at the same time.

I had just donated to Fred prior to the debate and wasn't planning on another one for a few weeks, but just dang he did so well I couldn't help myself to put some more in his truck.
It should show Thompson moving up. And he has the time to continue building the Big Mo he needs.The real question is will Southern South Carolina voters surrender to RINO and Moderates or will they draw a line in the sand on behalf of all conservatives.

If he goes from 6% to 9% I’ll be a little disappointed, but better than nothing and the polls aren’t exact science, mostly BS.

Great news!
The most recent SC poll I saw had FRed at 12%.
It’s going to go up by more than that. And I may be wrong, but if McPain is defeated in Michigan, it will really go up.
If Fred Thompson is the alternative to Huckabee then I will listen to him very closely. Note that Romney is still in it and I credit him with a very strong anti-democrat message. But, if he can’t convince a majority and establish a strong base, Thompson is the best of the remaining alternatives. I say that with the historical perspective that senators never win, but this needs context since both Senators Clinton and Obama have no other experience to speak of. What a year!

Hilton Head is Ohio and NY moved south. Sometimes their intelligence improves with the temp. but sadly chemicals from the golf course counteracts this effect.

If Fred wins SC, and Romney wins MI...talk about a tight race!
I don’t think God really is interested in getting Fred into the white house, at least so long as Fred isn’t interested in getting his family into God’s house.
