Obama's father was definitely not a practicing Muslim, but he was a Muslim.

He spent many years in Kenya getting as drunk as a skunk. He had two crude iron legs as a result of drunken accidents.

He was killed in an alcohol-related automobile accident.

He was buried in Muslim rites.

But, he did believe in that Muslim 4 wives thing, having had 3 wives (some at the same time) and one mistress. He had children with them all.

I believe it's because they don't have the numbers yet to back up their cult. I also think their opinions would change in the wink of an eye should they achieve those numbers.
