I simply latched on to the person I thought would best promote Judeo-Christian conservative principals, and keep the US on the anti-Jihad pro-business straight and narrow.

You obviously didn't research Duncan Hunter thoroughly enough otherwise you would have realized you let go of a person who has strong Judeo_Chrisitan Conservative principles. I'm not a one issue voter. I look at the totality of where a candidate stands on all the issues. Focusing on only one issue will only result in the very type of candidate I'm seeking to defeat.

It does no good to get angry or depressed

I couldn't agree more. Nor does it do any good to have a defeatist attitude. It is a matter of practicality to choose that candidate which most matches my beliefs. Abandoning a candidate would mean jumping on the bandwagon under the false assumption one candidate will win or lose is more important than principles. I'm not willing to sacrifice my principles.
