As for 2010 midterm, that is a pipe dream also. America has jumped on the "free stuff", "I want mine", "me, me, me" mentality, the "it's all about me generation" crap. America wants free stuff. America is all about getting the latest "stuff", watching American Idiot on TV, being on the Island, going to the bar, watching the BIG GAME. Look at TV this week, it is WALL TO WALL and nothing else about the damned Super Bowl. It is a football game, nothing else. But, watching on TV, you would think the entire destiny of the planet rides on THE BIG GAME!!! I like football. I have watched it all my life. But, I have yet to reach the point where I will jump off the roof or cry my eyes red because the team I wanted to win, loses. It ain't life and death to me and I live in life and death football country here in Alabama.
