You could not be more correct and with the right policies no one should suffer only gain .

Someone will always suffer. The question is, will the benefits outweigh the pain.

If all the economists were laid end to end they would never reach a conclusion .

That's true, economics can't be put in a lab to study. So there will always be discord in trade relations.
