Republican John McCain said Friday that Super Tuesday could mark the finish line of his partys presidential race this year.
Do I think the race will be over on Tuesday? Not often do I ask for divine intercession, but I have asked for that. Yes, he told reporters on a campaign flight to Chicago. Republicans in 21 states will weigh in on Super Tuesday, February 5.
From what we see in the polls, there is a very good chance it could be over on Tuesday, said the Arizona senator, adding: The sooner we get that done, the sooner I can go to work on uniting the party."

It’s pathetic. Greatest country in the history of the world and only psychopaths are available to run it.

The sooner we get that done, the sooner I can go to work on uniting the party." This, to me, is like Bush's "See you at the bill signing." It mobilized me to go out of my comfort zone to fight McCain's amnesty bill.
This is arrogance AGAINST the Republican voter, plain and simple, and I hope the blogosphere and talk radio gets this line flowing all over the country in the next couple of days. Mitt Romney, for one, should RUN with this quote.
John McCain is saying that he doesn't need us conservatives as voters, and that once he wins, he will basically be telling us to get behind him or shut up.
John McCain is PROVING that he is not in this to represent us. Can he make it any clearer? Thank G-d for his arrogance that is so great he has even warned us himself.

I don’t like Hillary, I just think it would be fun to watch her fall on her butt.

McCain/Thompson 08!! No, that would never work. No fault to Fred Thompson, but the Democrats and the Drive-Bys would have a field day with a Republican ticket with a total age reaching 150 years. Not to mention the fact that a vicious, back stabbing, egotistical old man like McCain would marginalize Fred even more than Clinton marginalized Gore. Can't allow the Veep to steal away any of McCain's TV time, now would we?

McCain/Kerry ought to buy a few votes.

McCain/Kerry ought to buy a few votes. He he! However, her Majesty's pretty much sewn up the Democrat ticket. No room left for those two leftists.

When god calls, you answer; leave him alone, McCain, I mean, maybe he knows something he’s not ready to share with us yet.

Fox just showed McCain at an appearance today being asked if he thinks tuesday will determine the outcome and he actually stated, "Yes, I believe I have the nomination." Arrogance and sanctimony never serve a candidate well!

I don’t mean to be over bearing but get over the Fred thing, it will only drag you down.
He’s a jerk. He was not serious about running and barely put any thought or energy into it. For example, his “Southern Strategy” was entirely based on a state that is made up of strong McCain supporters. If he had never been in the race Romney would have been the Conservative choice and we wouldn’t be under this McCain scare.

"I dont like Hillary, I just think it would be fun to watch her fall on her butt."The problem with that logic is we will be under that butt when it falls. I don't know about you but I don't care to be in that position.

I would be extremely surprised if he can win the general election. If McCain is the Republican nominee, I believe Hillary Clinton will be Madame President. It will be Clinton vs Dole all over again.

As bad as McCain is, Hillary is 200 percent worse. Very difficult to tell. Hillary would be a terrible president, but so would Queeg. Neither is fit to command, especially a vicious old man like McCain.
