A 21-year old Aruban came forward Monday to say that he is the mystery man that Joran van der Sloot implicated on undercover tapes, but claims that he had nothing to do with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
Daury Rodriguez said he was contacted on Saturday by a frantic biographer of Van der Sloot's who, he said, warned him that his name was about to surface in the press as being the alleged accomplice who took Holloway's body out to sea in a boat and dumped it.

It doesn't fit the story, so you've got to do something about it. You've got to give me proof [of his whereabouts in May 2005], so I can put it in the newspaper ... here in Holland."
Rodriguez, who grew up on Aruba and played soccer with Van der Sloot when both men were teenagers, said he was angry that his name had been dragged into the case. He said he met with detectives investigating Holloway's disappearance on Monday morning, and that he told them he was living in Rotterdam, Holland in May 2005, when Holloway went missing.

Its not racist, the poster is just stating a fact. When was the last time a non-caucasion disappearance garnered this must attention? Or as much attention as Laci Peterson, Stacy Peterson, etc. etc. ...

Trying to turn this into a race issue helps no one. Thousands of white kids are kidnapped a murdered and there's no outrage so what, we don't control the media.
Name one black woman who has recently disappeared whose husband was a police officer who had a previous wife die under suspicious circumstances.
Name one black cheerleader who disappeared while on an exotic vacation.
You're the one who is supposedly up on all these less-than-adequately-covered cases.
The Holloway and Peterson cases receive the coverage they do because of the dramatic details of the cases.
Additionally, there are 6 times as many white people in the US as black people - so far there is no affirmative action program for news coverage.
So what’s the point! Is Greta Van Sustern a racist. It’s a TV show they are chasing the ratings.
My point is that none of this crap should get any coverage. Ratings is not an excuse.

Does the Duke “rape case” ring a bell? The black woman who made false charges was supported by the media and many of the Dumbocrats without an iota of proof. This kind of racism (rich white boys raping poor little black woman) was instantly taken up in the media and in Duke’s professorial halls as rock solid. Has that black woman served any time in jail for her lies? No, she gets a pass because she is black, period.

One would think! But with the inept officials down in Aruba (and the fact that his dad is a judge) I am not sure how much effort has been put into solving this in any meaningful way.
How officials react after the release of this tape will be telling.
Joran contends he was “lying”. And it appears that the guy who allegedly dumped the body was not even in Aruba at the time. What a player.

1. Airtime spent on white victims is wasted airtime? Sounds racists to me.

What motive would someone who is one of the world’s most notorious people being watched for a crime have in telling such a lie over the course of several weeks? Would love to hear Joran explain that.
