We do not consider ourselves as a separate country but I do believe that alot of people in the lower 48 think we are a separate country.

I would love to see Ted and Don gone but most people here just can not resist pulling the lever for both of them all the time. I have not voted for either one of them in a very long time. But they still get reelected every cycle.

Maybe it was the Federation of Alaska (or not sure I have the wording right) hats that confused me when I was visiting.

Do you think Romney’s support for drilling in Anwar put him over the top?

McCain came in 4th behind Ron Paul. What do you think? ;>)

“Still Ted Stevens brings home the pork and he’s #1 on R’s I’d like to see replaced.”

The #1 Republican I’d like to see replaced is the guy with the most delegates. The #2 Republican I’d like to see replaced is his boyfriend with the third most delegates.

One silver lining of the dark clound of last night’s results: at some point in the not so distant future, McCain will no longer need Huckabee.

~flush~

Good news!

Good news from my mom’s old stomping ground. My Mom was very active in pro life in Anchorage and actually represented the state at one National RTL meeting. My Mom got arrested for helping pro lifers invade an abortion mill and chain themselves to some abortion equipment. Ha! Way to go, Mom!! She was very proud that her picture was in the paper in handcuffs - she was particularly proud that they handcuffed her hands behind her back, “like a real criminal”. Also some abortionist sued my Mom for a million dollars because the pro lifers called that abortionist a “baby killer”. Anyway, it ended up that my Mom got off with having to pay one dollar, as I recall. My Mom caused quite a stir up there. She passed away but she would be happy to know that Mitt Romney took Alaska yesterday and I am happy, too.

Thank you, Alaska!!

Ha! Good for her! Activists like that are what we need on the Right.

Alaska gives Mitt a total of 11 states won. McCain has 12, Huckabee ahs 6. But McCain's are much richer in delegate count.

What a great story. God bless your Mom.

I had a mom like that too. Toughest woman I’ve ever known.
