Let’s go to McCain vs Hitlery records, to the very time-period opponents of Senator McCain cite in their indictment of him.

McCain voted to defund Planned Parenthood last year, Clinton didn’t and would likely expand Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding.

McCain voted to ban partial-birth abortion, Clinton didn’t and would likely reverse the partial-birth abortion ban.

McCain voted for Roberts and Alito and made the case for them in the media, Clinton didn’t.

McCain has never voted for a tax increase, Clinton will increase taxes.

McCain will continue the Bush tax cuts, Clinton will end them.

McCain will end pork-barrel spending, Clinton supports the endowment of projects like the Woodstock Museum with taxpayer funding.

McCain will not cut and run in Iraq, Clinton will work with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid to do just that.

McCain sponsored legislation to keep the Fairness Doctrine from rearing its head again, Clinton has not and has signaled moves to revive it.

McCain supports school choice, Clinton does not.

Voting for McPain is rewarding him for his bad behaviour. That is not an option for me.

McCain is a POS career politician whose vote is up for grabs to the highest bidder.

Honestly, I don’t see Hillary cut and running in Iraq — she is too smart for that. I do see her gutting the military to the bone though as her POS husband did.

McCain may state he won’t cut and run, but I do not trust one word that comes out of his mouth.

Mitt Romney is the GOP’s only hope now. This country cannot survive 4 years of another Clinton.

I agree McCain would be a better president than Hillary. She and B. Hussein would be a disaster for the country. I just hope if McCain is elected he doesn’t ruin the country with his “global warming” and immigration policies.

6/20/05- Voted YES with Dems, to block for the second time, the confirmation President Bush's choice for U.N. Ambassador, John Bolton.

What's up with THAT, McCain??

7/29/05- Voted NO to Offering tax breaks and incentives to encourage oil and gas companies to provide innovative ways to reduce the nation's dependence on foreign oil, conserve resources and reduce pollution.

John McCain prefers us to be dependent on Foreign Oil, apparently.

6/7/06- Voted NO with Dems, on a Senate cloture vote on the gay marriage amendment, effectively killing the amendment.

Conservative values John?? Where?

7/18/06- Voted YES with Dems on legislation would allow federal funding for research on stem cell lines derived from embryos that would otherwise be destroyed.

Yes, ladies, you can abort in John's eyes, but he just can't stomach a partial birth abortion. Such a man of conviction...

3/15/07-DID NOT VOTE against the non-binding resolution that would have revised U.S. policy on Iraq. The measure had directed the president to begin a phased redeployment of U.S. forces from Iraq within 120 days of the resolution’s enactment.

John was for the war before he was so-so about it...

4/26/07-DID NOT VOTE against joint legislation providing $124.2 billion primarily for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and setting benchmarks and a timetable for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. President Bush vetoed the bill on May 1.

DITTO.

6/7/07-DID NOT VOTE for cloture vote that would have moved the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 forward to an "up or down" vote on the Senate floor.

Come on John, we would really like to know where you and the other sellouts really stand on illegal immigration. You dodged, again...

7/26/07- DID NOT VOTE with Republicans for an amendment to the Homeland Security Act of 2002. The bill required the inspection of all cargo traveling on passenger aircrafts and establishes the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board.

And we thought you were all about National Security...where were you?

8/3/07- DID NOT VOTE with Republicans for the amendment to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978. The bill gives U.S. spy agencies expanded power to eavesdrop on foreign suspects without a court order.

We're at war, John, why aren't you voting to protect Americans?

...and this is just over a two year time frame. Throw in McCain-Feingold, Gang of 14, Illegal Immigration Reform et al.. McCain is a liberal because he either votes with liberals or abstains when it matters the most to vote as a conservative.

Can you tell us the fax number that sends you these talking points, or is that you, John?

It is funny. Does anyone doubt that Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Levin and so forth would support George W. Bush if he could seek a third term in 2008? In spite of:

1)The amnesty bill.
2)Unreliablity on Judges (Remember Harriet Miers?)
3)Exploding growth of government ($1.2 trillion prescription drug expansion of Medicare and $286.4 billion).(McCain voted against both)
4)Signed CFR

They would all assure us that while Bush was bad on these issues, he was infinitely preferable to Hillary and that he would conduct the WOT vigorously and well. And that his judicial nominations, while not perfect, would be much, much better than hers.

Their uniform and loud oppostion has less to do with conservatism, since all vigorously supported and support Bush and more to do with opposition to McCain. They are Bush supporters first and foremost, and McCain’s election will probably mean that Jeb Bush never gets a shot at being President.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Jeb Bush. I am just not willing to give Hillary 3-4 Supreme Court appointments and 4-8 years to wreak havoc on our military and socialize our medical care system jsut for the chance to get Jeb as President.
