Before you take that decision let me request that you ask yourself and then answer this question. Which candidate will benefit America better when appointing Supreme Court Judges? You don't need to respond to me; you only need to respond to yourself.

In Arizona I can't vote for McCain or Kyl -- both betrayed us on the border.

I am planning to stop by the election office on the way home and switch to Independent. It pains me to do so because I have been a proud Republican since I signed up to cast my first vote for Ronaldus Magnus in 1984. I consider myself a conservative before a Republican, however, and the party has made it abundantly clear that conservatives are no longer welcome by nominating Senator McCain.
I’m not saying I will never come back if the party actually welcomes conservatives again but for now, I am gone.

You and others here sound like a typical leftist quitter. Have you been involved organizationally with your local or state GOP?
Did you personally work for either the campaigns of Hunter, Tancredo, or Thompson? If not, then quitcherbitchin’, saddle up, and get in there and fight the good fight. This is but one battle. Remember, we won in 1980, 1984, and 1994. If we Fight On, we will win again, but we have to fight smart, and the way to do that is from within the GOP.
