RUSH LIMBAUGH: McCAIN TO APPEAR WITH GEORGE ALLEN AT C-PAC
Rush Limbaugh Show ^

Posted on 02/07/2008 11:37:29 AM PST by Recovering_Democrat

Rush just announced on his show: George Allen will introduce or be with John McCain at CPAC today.

I was hoping for George to run for President.

Everyone is a Liberal if they don’t agree with me. And we need to keep shooting at the Republicans ones instead of the Democrat ones. //Sarcasm off.

They are being pulled out of the woodwork to stand behind McVain. But we can not be fooled by all the props.

The McCainiacs would be wise to just go away for a while and let us get it out of our system. I have no doubt that the Democrat candidate will have scared many Conservatives back into supporting McCain by Nov. Right now they are just pouring gas on the fire. We need some time to vent

I’m not sure he will pick Allen. They all seem to stumbling over each other right now to endorse him.

One of the CSPAN channels should be covering it - they did so for Romney’s speech earlier today. (BTW, Romney was introduced by Laura Ingraham).

A great concession speech by Romney
as he honorably bowed out
of the presidential race:

"I have to stand aside..."

Pawlenty has been unable to grant him Minnesota caucus.

If it had been a primary, that might have mattered. The people that show up at caucuses are like FReepers. McCain knows that people like FReepers weren't going to choose him over Romney.

Gee, didn’t George lose to the only guy in the U.S. Senate who is more squirrelly than McCain?

Shows that Allen is just another Beltway boy. Watch them all start towing the line now.

Liars, cheats, and cowards all of them. Just like Hunters endorsement Allen is now a showing his party colors.

They are all sell outs when it comes to money and power in a future administration. They do not love this country, they love power above all. They would sell their mother down the river. I despise them all.

All the good little Republicans are going to get together to support the party, even though McCain has sold the party out. How sweet, and how revealing it is to see how little principles mean to our current crop of GOP leaders.

Exactly.

It’s a shame when party is put over principle.

I became a Republican because I wanted conservatism. If I wanted to vote for a liberal I would’ve registered Dem.

What’s sad is the fact that it’s kinda Allen’s fault we’re in this mess. A shame the word “Macacca” killed the best chance for a true conservative to be our nominee.
