Thank you all for sharing your insights, information and concerns!
I strongly agree with betty boop that we must concentrate on the other races and try to elect as many conservatives - Christian conservatives especially - as possible to shore up against whoever wins, whether Clinton, Obama or McCain.
When it comes to the General Election - the vote for President - since I no longer have anyone to vote "for" I will be voting "against." A Clinton or Obama presidency - either one - would be too dangerous with the threat of terrorism still upon us.
The Democrat approach to bin Laden and other terrorists (embassy bombings, first WTC bombing, USS Cole, Somalia et al) - was to issue warrants for their arrest, bomb a pill factor and target a few cruise missiles at tents and camels.

Yes, and we also have to strive for a nation that is worth God’s protection.

For those interested in going directly to the source to verify what Alan Keyes actually said about reparations—since his position on the subject has been repeatedly distorted by the media—see http://www.alankeyes.com/qa.php#reparations
There you will find the text cited in post #22 by Brian Sears.

Lets see, Keyes or Mitt? I believe Keyes. If you don’t like Keyes, fine, but he is definitely not a liar. For some reason, we here at FR can’t seem to recognize character, some at the magnitude of a Founder of the US. Newt is also such a man, but just the mention of his name gathers scorn from all over FR. I would take either in place of McPain right now in a heartbeat.

McCain is easily the worst Republican nominee since Ford.
