Time to Stop griping about McCain and start working to defeat the 'Rats
2/13/08 | Self

Face it. It is all but inevitable that McCain win the race for the GOP presidential nominee. Get over it. McCain will be the GOP nominee.

The time for divisive talk about how much you hate McCain for screwing the conservatives and how he is a RINO and his other faults is over. WE are doing NO ONE any good by continuing to publicly air our grievances about him. I know, I have done my share. I don't like him one bit, but he will be a far better president than either of the two 'Rats.

With the atmosphere as anti-McCain as it is, it would not be hard for a liberal posing as another McCain hater to sneak in and keep throwing rocks at that hornet's nest. So let's tone down the rhetoric and the vitriol aimed at him and TRY to find a common ground with him.

McCain, we can hope to influence and guide. Obama and Hitlery will absolutely NOT listen or compromise on any conservative issue.

We know that there is absolutely no way that the 'Rats will make the Bust tax cuts permanent if there is a 'Rat in the WH.

We KNOW that any Supreme Court judge who retires or dies will immediately be replaces with a pro-abortion, anti-gun, anti-freedom liberal; probably from the 9th Circus.

We KNOW that there will be nothing but pure amnesty and absolutely no border enforcement if a 'Rat gets the WH. The 'Rats NEED poor, uneducated, miserable people to advance their socialist agenda.

It is time to stop bickering and hating McCain and stop the postings about how you will sit home and watch Obama or Hitlery become the next president. That is worse than stupidity. It is admitting defeat and quitting.

And I for one will not give up and pout at my home on election day.

So here it is:

McCAIN FOR PRESIDENT!

“I don’t like the things McCain has done...BUT I will not put another Clinton in the White House....like what happen in ‘92....by voting third party.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>.......
the drums are pounding support Mccain support Mccain..
I no longer hear them - He has gone well past what anyone calling themselves Conservative should tolerate.
He will cause me to not vote for the GOP Presidential candidate for the first time since I returned from my second tour in Viet Nam. He reminds me of all that has gone wrong with the GOP and those who had the house the senate and the White house and did very little to reduce government
to get us out of the UN heck to defund Public TV and
what we got is bigger Dept of Ed, Bigger Rx giveaways-and open borders. No never will I vote for a RINO again
Here in MD we got rid of Gilcrest a RINO of the first order
thats what we need to do across America - vote the RINO’s out.McCain will never get my vote, let the Dems do the dirt not one of our own..I have See the light after BUSH

How can he take the fight to the terrorists? Is he going to quit trying to micro-manage our military to “play nice”

Actually, it’s time to enjoy the fun of watching the Democrats implode over Obama and the Bitch.

It’s time to ignore the Republican party until about mid-October. There’s nothing entertaining coming out of there, and nothing of substance will happen either. McCain is a known entity, so there is nothing to learn.

Wonder how the Dem base is going to react when either Hill or Obama wins the nomination? Are they going to pout and stomp their feet too? LOL Wonder if their leaders are going to shake their fingers at them?

I can't wait to see the explosion on their side. Probably make us look mild.

It’s a little late for McCain to be courting the votes of the people he’s been stabbing in the back for years...

Yes, agreed, but let's play the devil's advocate here: just who are all those tacky Republicans that have voted McCain into first place? Our conservative dogs wouldn't hunt, they dropped out quickly, but we seem to be outnumbered when it comes to McCain. If you have any answers, I'd love to hear them.

No thank you anyway.

I will write in my candidate of choice in the general election and after that I will end my 36 year association with the Republican Party.

It is obvious to me that a majority of people in this country are in agreement on the path this country has taken. I do not agree. I see little or no chance to restore our Republic...may it R.I.P.

What if McCain picked an outstanding conservative....top notch as his VP.

I might vote for him under that circumstance - and will then pray every day that he has a mental or physical breakdown in his first days in office.

"Its putting someone in the OVAL OFFICE who will take the fight to the terrorists."

Oh, you mean that great man who won't let us use extreme interrogation techniques on those same terrorists?

McCain is already like a Britany Spears to me. I don't care what he says.

I don't care to read any post about what he's done, what he's doing, or what he plans to do.

I don't care who he's hanging with. Or hooking up with.

I don't care to hear his answers about any perceived problem, whether its a personal problem, or problem with some aspect of the country.

I don't care to take time to read posts from anyone who is crying while imploring us all to "Leave John alone!!".

I don't care, John. I'm just an insensitive voter, and I've lost interest.

The whine has gotton really bad hasn't it, LOL

“Nothing removes his stench from my nostrils. It is a matter of trust. He is untrustworthy, and without honor. He is a traitorous bastard.”
You hit it outta the park.
too many here on FR( I call them GOP BOTS )will brand us both as childish, stupid or worse..They think saving the GOP is what is important well after 8 yrs of GOP control of Gov I no longer feels The GOP is the best way to advance conservative principals. ONLY VOTING FOR CONSERVATIVES WILL DO THAT!!! .

McCain, we can hope to influence and guide.

Do you really believe the drivel you're peddling?

Don't Ask McCain

I'm a Conservative first and a Republican second, and based on how he's repeatedly screwed Conservatives and how he has behaved toward his own constituents, if he gets elected, it will be without my vote.

That's final.

I heard today (can't remember if it was on TV or radio) that "polls" (beats me which ones) of conservatives say that they will not vote McCain in the primary but will in the general election.

I can promise you that me and my entire large family will NOT VOTE MCCAIN. This is like a slap in the face. McCain is an insult as the nominee for the Republican party. I feel like they are ramming down my throat an ultimative.

DEFINITION OF MAVERICK:
An unbranded range animal, especially a calf that has become separated from its mother.
One that refuses to abide by the dictates of or resists adherence to a group; a dissenter.
From Texas History Book: Unbranded cattle that roamed the plains.

McCain is egotistical. If he defines the Republican party, especially conservativism, then it is time for me to look else where for MY REPRESENTATION.

Agree 100%

Sometimes is hard to see the forest for the trees.

I have been listening to the speeches given by the current crop of politicians running for president, is easier to bury your head in the sand, than see the obvious.

Mccain along with his supporters, look old, tired, wrinkled
unmotivating. I often wonder if the crowd is not boisterous, because, they fear they do not have enough oxygen or their walkers are to clumsy and in the way.

Whether you like it or not Obama with his idol, cult status
is energizing his base and followers, someone mention that this is a Seinfield episode instead of a run for president,
so be it, nonetheless there is a great amount of enthusiam.

In debating Maccain if Obama is the one challenging him.
Mccains people better make sure that the lighting and makeup for Maccain is controlled by his own people, and not the studio.

Kennedy beating Nixon on the televised debate, should be on the mind of the Mccain supporters.

[ Time to Stop griping about McCain and start working to defeat the 'Rats ]

McLaim cannot win.. many of the rats' are republicans.. Better we clean house first.. Actually NO republican candidate can or will win this cycle.. None of them.. America(the women) WANTS Universal Health Care and will have it..

Better to plan a "COUP" at the convention, if not a coup then a TEA Party of some sort.. At least some kind of tv VISIBLE gambit of some sort.. THAT could be the last thing anybody in America ever hears from the republican party for a few years on main stream TV..

Did I say ZERO republican candidates will or even can win this time.. Oh! yes I did..
Its true you know..........
