I don’t think McCain could beat Bob Dole. I just hope Obama gets the Democratic nomination because ANYTHING is better than President Hildabeast.

“If I read one more comparison or MR to RR, I am going to vomit.”

Mitt Romney is Ronald Reagan with more experience.

"am I the only one who questions whether or not there will even be a "2012"?"

You might be closer to the truth than you think. The Mayan, Aztec, I-Ching and several others predict something big around 2012 a la end of time or other such disaster. I'm not into this stuff but it IS pretty creepy that there are these indications from independent and completely separate sources. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I supported Romney in the primary. I think he made the right decision, and I respect him.

I’m not drinking the McLame Kool-Aid, but I am facing the reality: a Commander in Chief Hussein or Hitlery will mean America will surrender to Al Qaeda.

You are aware that Reagan endorsed Ford in ‘76?

Be prepared to hear the Romney is no Reagan, because you know your analogy does not compare to similar situations....:D

Guys, enough with those fantasy scenarios that have zero relation with reality and have absolute zero chance of happening.

Well how do ya Romney backers feel about your boy now?

At least he's not a sore loser. What was he supposed to do with them? I'm disappointed, especially in light of the way McCain (& Huck) treated Romney, but maybe he is hoping for a better day and doing his bit for party unity (or some position).

Won't make me vote for McCain though. I'm not THAT conservative either, just don't like what he compromised on, not that he compromised. I just don't like him. That isn't going to change. I've held my nose too long since Bush the elder. Enough.

And I still don't hate GWB, but I didn't want him in the first place, and wasn't paying attention here then I don't think, at least about that.

I've answered that. And your tone is not very nice.

I see no reason to celebrate John McCains apparent victory in the republican primary. He’ll either lose the the democratic nominee or we’ll have to endure 4 or 8 years of him stabbing us in the back.

Watch the anti-Mormon responses to my post, then consider that each one of them believes some guy floated up out of cave and went to heaven.

Do we get to have our leaps of faith or not?

Can you have a leap of faith to a religion that denies anyone else’s ability to have a leap of faith to any other destination?

Surely you can, but it is hypocritical. That hypocrisy indicts the denier by the logic which G-d gave us.

Choose, and choose freely, that others may also choose. In the end G-d will show us who was right and wrong.

Good luck with that!

Will people STILL support him now on this site?

More than ever. In fact, I think I'll send him a small contribution and thank him for putting our country above ambition and self. It is time for Huck to hang it up or find his own TV show where the rest of us can turn off the dial.

Knowing his arrogance, I'm not going to bet he will.

You got that right. Some here actually believe these purposely misleading 'Polls' showing McCain could beat Clinton. A bunch of cool-aid! I think McCain will get beat in a defeat of monumental proportions and we are now having the Nov. General Election in the form of the Dem Primaries. Whoever wins the nomination will be the next POTUS. I hope it is Obama.

BTW, see my tag. The Clintons are as dangerous as anything I've seen in my life.
