“I was a huge Romney fan from the get go, but I agree 100% with your post. I’m not saying Romney is Reagan and am not comparing the two just so it’s clear, but I think Romney could use the next four years to work in the conservative movement and will maybe fair better next go around.”

Romney is the most interesting politician right now, except for Obama. He is playing for 2012 and this was an interesting move. I think he will not take the VP nod if he gets an offer. The prospects for a win are dim and the prospects for a landslide are very possible. He is paving the way for 2012 with this move.

You could be right. I keep going back and forth in between thinking McCain can win this thing and Mitt should be his VP to thinking there is no way that McCain can win. I don't think a majority of people will choose Hillary, but the jury is still out on Obama. It is too soon to tell.
