Top "Gay" Organization Comes Clean: "HIV is a gay disease."
LifeSite ^ | February 14, 2008

p>WASHINGTON, February 14, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a public statement last Friday, Matt Foreman, outgoing Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, rattled the homosexual activist community by joining the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), pro-family organizations and a growing number of homosexual activists willing to admit that homosexual behavior is both extremely high-risk and primarily responsible for the spread of HIV/AIDS in the U.S.

Addressing the topic of AIDS, Foreman drastically deviated from the "gay" lobby's party line by admitting, "Internally, when these numbers come out, the 'established' gay community seems to have a collective shrug as if this isn't our problem.  Folks, with 70 percent of the people in this country living with HIV being gay or bi, we cannot deny that HIV is a gay disease. We have to own that and face up to that."

A little over a year ago, Lorri Jean, CEO of the Los Angeles-based Gay and Lesbian Center, similarly shocked the "gay" community by stating that, "HIV is a Gay Disease.  Own it.  End it."

Foreman's admission comes on the heels of a letter from Matt Barber, Concerned Women for America's (CWA) Policy Director for Cultural Issues, inviting Foreman and other homosexual activists to work together in discouraging homosexuals from engaging in the high-risk behaviors researchers recently determined are responsible for the epidemic spread of a potentially deadly strain of staph infection among certain segments of the "gay" community.  The CDC has acknowledged that many of those same high-risk behaviors, such as male-male anal sex, are chiefly responsible for spreading HIV/AIDS.

Matt Barber addressed Foreman's admission: "It's extremely encouraging to see Matt Foreman, a homosexual activist who has for so long been in denial about the dangers of the lifestyle he has promoted, publicly coming to terms with the undeniable perils of that lifestyle.

"I only hope he will now stop promoting homosexual conduct and push for other liberal elites, especially those running our public schools, to do the same.  Educators must truthfully address the 'gay' lifestyle's potentially deadly consequences.

"It's criminally reckless for the National Education Association and liberal educators to put political correctness and a deceptive political agenda above the lives, health and well-being of America's children.  The evidence is there for all to see.  'Gayness' is not about 'who you are,' it's about 'what you do.' The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force has now, in effect, acknowledged that reality.  Their honesty is refreshing and unexpected," concluded Barber.

The reason we don't use such draconian policies against US citizens with an infectious disease is that we now have medical and technical means of combatting these diseases. Many people avoided catching polio by simply avoiding public swimming pools. That is a huge burden so why not expect people to do a simple thing like wear a condom, or not have sex outside of marraige? We have better ways to screen donated blood so the likliehood of another kid getting it like White is greatly reduced, the risk isn't high enough to imprison thousands of Americans.

If those affected with HIV had been treated the same way other sexually transmitted deseases were treated the epidemic would have been short lived.

A shot of penicillan was never a cure for aids like it is for most STD's. We used to give labotomies to people who were too high strung or had a chemical imbalance or were mentally retarded. Why don't we do that anymore? The right answer to that question is also why we don't round up thousands of citizens with a disease and imprison them. If you don't want AIDS then stay faithful to your current or future spouse or if that's impossible wear a condom and never let a guy poke you in the pooper. It's that simple. For all of the people freaking out about this; what are you so afraid of? Are you having a bunch of bareback sex with junkies and homo's? Are you sharing needles when you mainline crank and coke and smack? That's how you get it, pretty much the only way. I think we have a BUNCH of Larry Craigs and closet junkies on this thread. The rest of us really have nothing to fear from AIDS.

Whether you keep someone in thier own home or a hospital or a jail cell, denying a person thier freedom is imprisonment.

So it is not ignorant to say it is a common result of homosexual behavior.

Then say that. That however is not what elicited my response, and that HIV is transmitted more readily through homosexual sex is not the equivalent of calling it a gay disease.

When you call it a gay disease, you are by definition saying that it is not a heterosexual disease, which is not only misleading, but dangerously so.

And why is reincarnation a no no for Christians?

Those who test NIV positive know intuitively reincarnation isn't the ticket.

Failure to respect legitimate authority always leads to loss of freedom. When perverts fail to respect the proper role of sex as given by God to man, they still have volition, but will lose many freedoms they would have had they respected the institutions He had established, including marriage, family, and ultimately sound national policy.

I was at the CDC for six years. Even then, it was internally regarded as a gay male disease.

Anal sex is the most common vehicle for delivery because of the fragile blood vessels in the rectum. It is true that women have contracted AIDS and it is generally for the same reason and the same way. Indiscriminate anal sex. But the prime carrier are gay men, including on the African continent where female anal rape is common.

You have a right to your own opinion but not to your own facts.

I should have been more clear; had it stayed an Africa-specific disease it would be a footnote here. They have all sorts of diseases over there that most of our doctors have never heard of.

I've thought that myself. But then, I'm sure we'd still be giving billions to Africa for treatment of AIDS. I don't really understand why.

even if they are true, his stats don’t disprove the story. His stats account for 21% of all cases coming from “hetero” behavior.

That's just something you are made with and there is nothing you can do about it.

Wrong. There are mounds of research that says otherwise. Many places like Exodus International and Venus Magazine have the real life people who show that you can do something about it if you choose to.
