They did raise the $200,000 where he has to get waxed!! I don’t know when but it should be painful. Harvick also in on that is supposed to shave his head.

They won’t do anything even if they find something weird. Tires were the deal.

Ehhh...I’ve gotten to the point now with Nutscar I really don’t care. It’s just too hard, too much energy and emotion to really follow it now. France and his minions have ruined it for me. I like to watch, but the insane commercial load really, really ruins it for me...much like the Olympics, can’t watch any more because of the ad loading.

IMHO the networks and Nutscar are doing this on purpose, making the fan base so disgusted with TV, they’ll pay anything for no ads on Cable or Satellite feeds...I’d pay $250-300 to be able to watch every race commercial free, every lap.

double wow-sers....280 for me.

And I sat the 20 car this morning and switched over to JJ(!dumb move), finishing 27th.

With Mikey 29th, only good points getters were Shrub fourth, Jr ninth.

On to California!

It ended up being a good race after the boredome of a lot of it.

It was rather boring, for the first part, wasn't?

Then the boys did their thing......

I’d pay $250-300 to be able to watch every race commercial free, every lap.

DirectTV and HotPass is as close as you are going to get.

Cheap sign up price for new subscribers this year - $40 for the Nascar package.

When 'on' a driver channel, you have the choice of what audio to listen to: 1) Network, 2) The broadcast for that driver, or 3) The Team radio.

I was usually parked on Jr's channel, with his Team audio on. Split screens, you saw the Network broadcast on one, the other had the camera focused on where Jr was.

So when the network went to a commercial, no big deal....I was still watching Jr and listening to his team radio.

You may have seen the post's between me and the Budman about Jr having an issue, in and out of the gas......the team radio.

I know what you are saying about too many friggin' commercials - my way to get around that, at least minimize the crap.

Blood is thicker than water. Tony’s teammate isn’t even in the picture trying.

Thanks for the 500 thread. With so many commercials there is no time for racing behind sixth place and I think that is a great part of my dissatisfaction with Nascar on TV

The track report will have to wait until tomorrow.

Back to the hotel in one piece, but quickly falling apart. :)

GRRRR, same thoughts echo'd from me. The DTV thing is about as close as you can to what I'd say is the TV broadcast nirvana right now.

If you aren't a DTV subscriber, this year you can get it for just $40. I already subscribe (not to HP though) and its $80 for me.

Thinking about the package though seriously, as the improvements from last year to this year are convincing.

There's nothing more fun to my ears than listening to 8500RPMs of a screaming HMS Chevy or a JGR Toyota, the banter back and forth to the pits, the onboard cameras and lack of commercials and adnausem sometimes self-serving commentary. (You have to watch it though, as the wifey was in the other room, and missed the booth commentary for keeping up while not watching.)

LOL!!! I caught that during the feast, and waited until the end of eating to announce it.

Fortunately, the feast came from the Harris Ranch co-operative.

I’m way late to the live thread, but I saw your post and wanted to tell you that the Gopher Cam cartoon annoyed me, too. After the third time, it was more than enough.
