OUTBREAK: Leprosy in Arkansas – Brought Here by Whom?
Family Security Matters ^ | 2/18,2008 | Renee Taylor

Posted on 02/18/2008 7:37:11 AM PST by captjanaway

In an emergency room in Arkansas, the patient exhibits dark red boils, her skin numb. Another case of leprosy in America. Not far away, a tuberculosis-infected illegal immigrant coughs while on break at the local chicken processing plant – spreading his infectious germs across the break room table. His children, also carrying the disease, which had been all but eradicated from the United States years ago, join hundreds of children at the local public school. Crossing the Mexican border, in a pickup truck filled with “migrant workers” coming to “do the jobs Americans don’t do” in our fields and food processing plants, is the Islamic terrorist who purposefully infected himself with smallpox in order to spread the deadly disease to unsuspecting Americans nationwide.

Fact or fiction? Well over 12 million illegal aliens have invaded our country from our southern border, circumventing the strict health requirements that are enforced for those entering legally – requirements that include ensuring the entrants are free from infectious diseases. Our own government continues its push to give them legitimacy, in some cases welcoming them with open arms under the guise of “they are doing the work Americans just don’t do.” However, we don’t know who they are – or what horrific contagions they may have brought with them.

I for one welcome the resurgence of once eradicated diseases brought here by our new Hispanic Overlords.

I wonder if armadillo tastes like fried squirrel.

Armadillo has a slightly fishy taste like rattle snake. Just to provide more anti-South, anti-Arkansas ammunition, until a prion disease similar to mad cow disease was traced to it's source, squirrel head stew was a favorite dish in Arkansas. By the way, I would chose squirrel over deer any day.

The Marshall Islands aren't "hispanic".

There was another story on this here a week or two ago. I tried to post an update, but the mods removed it, apparently thinking that it was a duplicate post.

Anyway, these leprosy cases are among a group of American Samoans who are in Arkansas to work in a Tyson chicken plant. The original story was that a group of doctors were questioning why lepers had been admitted to Arkansas and apparently were running around loose.

The Arkansas Health Dept then proceeded to lean on the local TV station that posted the story. They removed it and posted another story, saying that according the the state health department, leprosy isn’t dangerous and can’t be transmitted to other people, so chill out and forget it.

American Samoa has some sort of deal with the US that allows its people in whenever they like, I gather. Tyson is using that exception to bring in cheap labor.

So, nothing to do with Mexico. What’s broken is Tyson, who started out as a drug-smuggling mobster, and the Arkansas Health Department, which is probably still run by the kind of guys who approved of bill clinton’s prison blood scheme, which transmitted AIDS to a number of innocent people around the world, notably in Canada. Clinton made money, and Canadian Leukemia patients got AIDS. Since he was clinton, the story was buried by the MSM and the Canadian Liberal government.

And, by the way, not much changed between when clinton was running Arkansas and Huckabee was running Arkansas. Same Tyson, same cheap alien labor, and same corrupted Health Department.

“Anyway, these leprosy cases are among a group of American Samoans who are in Arkansas to work in a Tyson chicken plant.”

That is very heartening to know considering that raw Tyson chicken meat is shipped all over the US and displayed near other meats in the supermarket. Here is a chance for many lawyers to get rich.

AIDS, chagas disease, leprosy ... as if our health care system is supposed to handle this AND all the senior citizens about to retire.
You can’t do both.

“... these leprosy cases are among a group of American Samoans ...”

The article says that the Arkansas health department has identified a group of Marshall Islanders working in Springdale as the primary source of the leprosy. Are American Samoans also implicated in the leprosy?

Not sure. I can’t find the earlier article, but I thought it said American Samoa.

It also mentioned the figure of about 3000 workers at the chicken plant. And some TB as well as leprosy.

From yesterdays measles outbreak thread:
“The first suspicion might be the outbreak is among immigrants and poorer people. It is not. The outbreak is taking place among the well to do. A child on a flight from Switzerland, another child on a flight to Hawaii, other children shopping at Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods.”

To me, buying Tyson chicken is as smart as buying chicken processed in China.

Also another reason to have food plant supervision at the higher government levels run by medical public health professionals familiar with food processing and animals(veterinarians). The Clinton administration put lawyers in charge of much of the public health with a few physicians that specialized in public health and is why many of the requirements for food processing employees were dropped. The Food Inspection service is still reeling from the Clinton Administration actions. No longer do food plant and restaurant workers have the requirement to be screened for TB, infectious diseases and have health exams yearly prior to working in these plants.

“OUTBREAK: Leprosy in Arkansas – Brought Here by Whom?”

Not to worry.
At least the illegals/leprosy cases shouldn’t be clogging up our
emergency rooms as much.

Seeing how they are now stealing Americans’ medical records in order
to get credentials to visit doctors without prior consultation.
(in other words, stealing Americans’ idenitities in order to get
Platinum-Class medical coverage).

This reported in USA Today, Friday 15, 2008 in the “Technology”
section on page 4B.

“Yet, the problem in Arkansas is a serous one.”

Not all that series.
This problem might be an ecomonic-revitalization-shot-in-the-arm for
one Democrat’s stompin’ grounds! Time to reopen the facilities.
(and yes, I’m being facetious)

I still can’t find the story here on FR, but I did manage to find a blog that gives the original story and the curious way that Arkansas authorities managed to suppress it.

http://wwwwakeupamericans-spree.blogspot.com/2008/02/why-did-arkansas-leprosy-story-simply.html

It does say Marshallese, so I may have been mistaken about any connection to American Samoa.
