Yep. We are all Americans. Not everyone is a conservative. My principles dictate how I live my life on a daily basis. It is unwavering and steadfast., Thus, I am a conservative before anything else.

I, too, am an American conservative, not just conservative. America first, conservatism will naturally follow. I agree with John Allen’s position.

I would be honored if my tomb stone simply says “a patriot.”

Fear mongering to push the liberal/socialist republican agenda. My line of thinking also. They are trying a new spin to get conservatives to vote for McCain. This is only the first of many to "scare us to death" and make us think that we cannot afford to vote for McCain. I don't believe half of what this guy is saying about McCain. McCain has no track record to show any type of conservative thought. Everything he does is liberal.

"Fear mongering to push the liberal/socialist republican agenda. "

In other words, you are sitting there with your fingers in your ears, saying, "La-la-la-la-la-la-I-can't-hear-you-la-la-la-la-la-la...."

Total and utter nonsense. I am solidly conservative, and I could never have a socialist/marxist elected to lead this nation, which is exactly what we get from either of these democratic candidates, rather than sit this election out. I could never actually pull the lever for one of these democratic candidates as some of the “conservatives” on this site suggest they will do. So I will hold my nose and vote for McCain.

They don’t have to do “fear mongering” to scare me. The very thought of Hillary or Obama leading this country scares the daylights out of me. Do I like McCain? No, I do not, but I will have to vote for him over these two Marxists.
