As you have already found out, yes, Ned Jarrett was a broadcaster - a great one that a lot of people really liked.
He was also a 2 time Nascar Champion.
A Nascar classic is "The Dale and Dale Show", the 1993 Daytona 500. Ned Jarrett was in the booth calling the race, Dale Jarrett was driving. DJ was battling Big E for the lead at the end. DJ won.
"Cool" can't describe that - Dad calling the race, his emotions very much obvious, and the son wins. "The Dale and Dale Show" - Dale Jarrett and Dale Earnhardt.
It don't get no better.........
And DJ will be moving to the booth shortly. Actually he has been doing some booth work on and off for a couple years now. And he is not bad at it.
I'm not sure but I think I see a trend...:)
.....not that I'm a DJ fan or anything..........
Wow, the U.S. needs more kitty litter. Will it work on Barbara Striesand, and the mile long list of other Hollyweird types?
Perhaps, just maybe, nascar will listen. This thing should be continued when the track is safe.
Is Hillary Will still in the show. She put down a good number in the first round yesterday...
What network’s NHRA?
affirm.
My Uncle Oscar died in the last century...
I had a husband who raced for 4 years. He actually made it to Sportsman class in 73 and 74. When we had kids he said it was harder because he couldn’t think about needing to live through the race and still do well. He raced off and on at local dirt tracks till late in life but never did try the big time again after having family.
Rainin’ in turn 4
btw,, Oscar turns 80 tonight..
Buster says it looks like we can go back racing..
Im so sorry I had no idea
congrats on the 666. water on your mouse?
If they’re sawing on the asphalt, can we expect potholes to begin to form if they go racing?
Channel 21...
Halfway? Wasn't that lap 10.5?
So Tom Cruise is at the race visiting Rick Hendrick instead of at the Oscars.
maybe the big one on the San Andreas
It's not unheard of... remember when Gordon got his car trashed by a chunk of racecourse that flipped up?
ch21? Isn’t that UHF?
LOL.. It probably would have been better if it had been rained out.. not missing much for now. ;-)
