Now all this is speculation, and you maybe right and it could be wishful thinking on my part, however...Remember when clinton campaigned? He was a rock star like obama. He loved the campaign but when it came to actually being president 18 months later he would take his limo out on the streets and stop it to shake peoples hands and campaign.

If you saw Hillary's speech tonight, you saw it. Hillary now speaks and looks like the "udderly" defeated cow she is. Whoever is running the Secret Service should put her on a suicide/homocide watch, and triple Obama's guard -- immediately.
If you saw Obama's speech tonight, you saw the next president of the United States, barring any unnatural interference by the old wing of that party. They asked for substance, he added substance.
This was the beginning of the end for the status quo in DC. The old people in the House and Senate better pack up their bags. And by "old", I mean the ones who refuse to represent the people who elected them.
The Republicans can watch this speech for the next twenty or thirty years, and chastise themselves for not fronting a young, energetic, and principled conservative to lead the Republican Party and the country. They will have plenty of time, and absolutely nothing else to occupy that time. I don't agree with most of Obama's ideas, but one of them surpasses all and crosses party lines -- it's time to get the dead weight out of Washington, DC. Both parties. Actually, what he said about that is, "Washington is where good ideas go to die."
If you also watched McCain's speech tonight, you already know exactly what I mean by the above paragraph. Republicans put forth a warmed-over corpse to counter the greatest challenge they have ever had, at least since the invention of radio. There was absolutely no excuse for this, and the old crust of the Republican Party is 100% to blame for its demise. May it not rest in peace.
But wait, there's more. The Democrats could yet pull defeat from the jaws of victory. Hillary is still getting 43% from that wing of her party. She could still cheat Obama out of the nomination. If she does that, Obama could easily run as an Independent and get 56% of the Democrat vote, and without a "D" next to his name, he could get half of the Republican vote. Maybe then we could put both these corrupted parties out of their misery.
It's a sad, shrill tune, but Hillary is singing. The Republicans simply stepped on their microphone.
