The "Times" has become a laughing stock for those who can think for themselves. The "Newspaper of Record" has become the "newspaper of rumor".

When I exited the hotel this morning to find my car covered in 4" of snow, I went back inside to get something to clean it off. After securing a styrofoam plate from the breakfast bar, I returned outside for the task. I joked with a man standing outside of the hotel that "I wish they had a copy of the NY Times, as it would be much better for this task. But....that's all it is good for." We both had a good chuckle.

"quality newspaper" indeed.
