Do you know if Curtis Sliwa and that lib guy (Kuby?) on WABC 770AM complained because they were going to be replaced on WABC by Imus? I thought Curtis & Kuby had a pretty highly-rated morning show going on there...

Curtis is still at WABC, for an hour at 5:00am. That doesnt do me much good.Wow, that's quite a demotion...
For now, I switch to Jerry at WDRC FM in the morning. More music than talk, though.
I'll have to try to remember to tune in to 'DRC FM to hear Jerry. I remember he was a morning music guy up in this area back in the 80s... at least I think he was.

A lot of that lately. I think the Trolls are breeding.
Today was surprisingly Troll free.
That will probably change when word gets around.

Wow! Thanks so much for the link! I’m listening to the show now from a station on the west coast.

> Kristofer went from a talk radio host to an oldies DJ???
Exactly. He was station manager at WELI as well.
They must have made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
To: Tony Snow
I am so sad that I had to work during your first show. I hope
I get some Fridays off so I can participate. It’s just too
much fun not to!
God bless you....and welcome back Snowman!!!

Uh oh... I would assume WELI has a new station manager in Kristofer's absence. I hope WELI doesn't make any new "changes", ie dumping some of their conservative shows in favor of liberal (or in WDRC's case, just plain stupid) shows...

Thanx for thinking of me, PTD. I was listening to some of Tony in the car on XM Satellite radio...Channel 168 [Fox News Talk]. Great reception and they carry the full two hours. If you poke around the Foxnews.com web site you can find a spot where you can download an hour podcast of BOR. You have to be a premium member to get the full two hours.

dina, I found a good reliable stream from
http://www.kabc.com in LAX. The only catch is you do have to register, but the streaming is free and solid.

Great show. Fits you like a glove. Much better than the Paul Harvey gig which didn’t use your talent.

I think I will do so. I tried that earlier, but I couldn’t stop to register.
WOR switched on me and I missed the a bit of the beginning.

Hi!
Figured you were already listening, but wanted to be sure. Was able to catch most of the show! So good having Tony back!

My memory of WTIC was the Connecticut March at 8 a.m.on GFox’s Morning Watch program. That was our signal to walk down the hill for the school bus. That was more than a few years ago!
My son sent me an XM Roady kit with a home radio adapter kit from Amazon. We hooked it up to our Bose speaker but you can hook it up with just about any unit. Magic—you can download over 100 radio stations from the satellite but we usually keep ours on channel 40 for music from the ‘40’s and ‘30’s. The variety is awesome.

I just remembered. Tony only did the first two hours of BOR’s show; I believe that’s all he’s going to do.
