How long will it take for the Gore-Istas to claim that a colder planet is the result of Global Warming?

It's already been done. Greenies like algore thought "The Day After Tomorrow" was a documentary. They even explained how global warming caused melting icecaps to create super cold water in the ocean currents that circulated into little freezing hurricanes that super-cooled the air above them.

There is not one scientist now, nor has there ever been, who knows more about the climate than Algore. Algore says the planet is warming and even made a movie about it. That’s all any of us need to know. Seriously, what have these “so-called” scientists done? Science? Experiments? Studied the data? Formed hypotheses and tested? Like any of that compares to Algore’s conclusions. If only Algore had become the president. We might have had a chance to save ourselves from global warming. Now it's too late and we're all going to die.

The Sun’s heat comes from Thermonuclear fusion at its core: light elements such as (but not exclusively) 2 Hydrogen atoms turning into a Helium atom.

This process uses up mass, and generates a LOT of energy. The Sun IS using up its fuel, but fusion is so efficient that the Sun will continue to shine for billions of years.

The burning you are thinking of (that requires Oxygen) is simple chemical combustion. It releases much less energy than nuclear fusion. But it is also much easier to do - Thermonuclear fusion is very hard to initiate and sustain, and might never turn out to be a good source of power on Earth.

All good questions. Boy, I wish I knew something about the sun, other than the fact that it's currently got fewer sunspots.

My husband loves to show sunspots to kids who visit his planetarium. He usually projects them on the floor. He's been disappointed that there have been next-to-no spots in recent months.

There are globalist warmbots who would argue that the sun can’t possibly be responsible for the earth’s changing climate. I heard an expert on one of the new age doom shows tell Linda Molting Howe that the sun can go through dramatic changes without effecting us one degree or the other. Of course, not being the brightest bulb in the room, the first thing that ran through my mind was the whole winter and summer thing, and how stupid I was to think the sun has something to do with it. So, the record cold temperatures we had in 2007 and for this year must be because Gore is selling his carbon footprints.

The entire global warming estimated since 1980 due to AGW has been 0.6C ... in a single year, thse past 12 months, the earth has cooled by 0.6C.

This corresponding change is so sudden that it is clearly not tied to any CO2 changes but to other effects. The sun-spot link tells us that solar activity is the real driver here.

It's a rehash of the Environmental movement of the 70's, when Earth Day was first celebrated. Unfortunately, because of the explosion of media, we get bombarded with it everywhere. And like the 70's, companies are marketing their products based on how 'green' they are.
