My school just made an announcement on the public address: All after school activities (including meetings and parent conferences) are cancelled. All students AND staff are to exit the building and go directly home. Even night school! That
never happens. Something weird is going on. A few hours ago, the school made another announcement to keep all students out of the hallways. They say that only when there has been an "incident" that doesn't rate a "code red" alert. Sometimes orders like this come from downtown.
My students are on their cell phones, now. One is reporting similar problems in New York City from relatives that are contacting family here in Miami. Widen the focus. Check other cities. Somebody link this post over to the Threat Matrix. I have to calm my students.
