It’s not whether someone uses his middle name or not, it’s a matter of the GOP once again telling Conservatives what they are or aren’t allowed to say. The GOP better wake up and realize that the “moderate” Republican is already voting for McCain and if the GOP thinks attracting Libs or left of center will buy them the White House they are gravely mistaken, it’s the Conservatives that will win it for them. Conservatives are not afraid to call an ace an ace and a spade a spade. The GOP lost the ‘06 elections because they wouldn’t fight back and “won’t stoop to their level” but just a friendly reminder to the GOP, their level won.

Jim webb did exactly the same thing to George Allen. I dont recall any indignatíon then by the gop elites.
