I’ve been saying this for years.

It really will take another monumental event to polarize America’s position on this crap - be it an attack, or something so absolutely offensive as to call forth even the most passive citizens to dig in and fight.

I’m not wishing that upon us, but I do hope that this country pulls up her britches and gets some backbone before it comes to that. But that’s probably what it will take.

The bozo's see the American Indian tribal rights as some sort of minority giveaway, which it is not. It is a special privilege given to a defeated foe, and it was done as a method to aid a displaced population who at the time was totally decimated. It was not a liberal giveaway to a minority. The treaties it is based on are law, and cannot be broken unilaterally unless they break it.

The rights cannot be given to anyone else, not ever....

Hey, that means they’re right down the river from me.

Seriously, when I tell my Native students what Islam thinks about their traditions, culture, and spiritual beliefs - and what Islam would do to Native culture if Islam ruled in Alaska - they suddenly come to realize that those evil white-skinned oppressors are actually loveable blue-eyed neighbors.

So by all means, send them north. They may not come back, though.
