C’mon. It’s Alaska, The Last Frontier. If there’s one state in this country that can run itself while the governor is in the hospital giving birth, it’s Alaska. They’ll be fine!

There are women who never get pregnant that get “hormonal and cranky” once a month, and then there are those (like me) who never got that way through the whole pregnancy.

Quit generalizing! If she finds she needs to devote more time to the baby, she can quit or the good citizens of Alaska can not re-elect her.

In the meantime, she probably will do just fine. I’ll say something radical—her husband can help with the baby!!

Actually, I’d say not everyone does. I know quite a few who have absolutely none. Very strange and sad people. Sometimes my humor can be a bit off color. I’ve made the comment on occasion and it has never once had a negative reaction... until this thread, and the hysterical reactions. Way too many uptight Church Ladies around here. If they don’t like the joke, ignore it. If I responded to every comment I found offensive, I’d spend 24/7 online. Life’s too short, as they say.
