I tuned out Laura years ago and am happier for it.

Clint: Regarding Imus, I wish I knew how that whole syndication thingy worked.

I suspect after Imus was fired by CBS, Clear Channel which is the syndicating company also let him go.

But here’s the crazy thing. WABC (which is also a Clear Channel station) hires Imus to replace the Cutis and Kuby show. Which makes no sense, since Imus has never been able to beat Curtis and Kuby in the NYC market. And so WABC fired Curtis and Kuby from the morning slot just to replace them with Imus? Who had lower ratings in that market? Makes no sense.

Anyway, WABC lost me as a morning listener.
