All I've heard for years now is how we are supposed to be a color-blind society and I believe for the most part we are but then comes Obama that tells us that we can't be color-blind, we have to acknowledge racism from 150 years ago.

We must move beyond my race and recognize that there is a difference between the races which I shall exploit in my bid... Wait, I didn’t mean that...
Please; Hint Obama, your speech will be remembered for 15 minutes, those youtube videos will be seen by more people than hear about your speech.

"Obama says US cannot ignore race" Really? The Michigan Courts just threw out a challenge to a voter passed Constitutional Amendment that prohibits use of Race in any hiring or appointment positions. It appears Michigan is about to 'Ignore Race' in the bestowing of benefits and privileges. So sometimes it is good to 'Ignore Race'.

Yeah Blacks suffer and suffered and a black church more likely will bring up these things
But how many adopt Marxit/Third-Worldist pseudo-intellectual rants and boilerplate?

I’m sorry Mr. One-Note, but YOU’RE the one that makes it all about race - black this, black that. You NEED it to be all about race. If you weren’t black, you’d have been a footnote in this campaign.
You’re half white Obama - how do you sleep after attending a church that literally insults your mother week after week. Better yet, run as a White candidate and see how many votes you get.

Obama says US cannot ignore race Who, besides you, Obama, is ignoring the fact that your mentor of 20 years is a racist hate monger?
I am not ignoring that racism and neither will the majority of America in November.

Dimes to dollars that the most confused person in this whole situation is Jeremiah Wright.
After all, he isn’t saying anything recently that he hasn’t said all along, except his remarks went unchallenged then.
Bet he’s still trying to figure out where he “went wrong.”

Obama, you ignorant slut. The only reason you're even on the national political arena is because of your race. If you'd been a dilletante first-term senator with any paler skin, you'd have been laughed off the stage months ago. And if you belonged to an racist church run by a white guy, you wouldn't be getting any press from the mainstream media except for your 15-minute crucifixion followed by absolute silence except for the occasional Jay Leno joke about what a clown you truly are.
That is why you're wholly unqualified to run for any position apart from City Dog Catcher, and woe be unto the city that gets a crooked racist like yourself for the job.
That's my take, and I'm stickin' to it.

He is an American, I'll give him that. He is a class warrior, let's all unite to eat everyone in a suit raw, commie, but he is an American "let's kill the rich" commie. The worst part is he clearly doesn't even see his shameless class baiting as hateful and divisive, he thinks everybody wants to murder their boss etc.

I heard his speech this morning and the reason I believe he won’t distance himself from Mr Wright is more personal than anything else. His own father deserted him and his mother when he was just a little boy. The so called Rev has been serving as his surrogate father since he was 26 years old or so...so no he won’t distance himself from this bigot and it says a great deal about who Obama and his wife are. The difference between his wife and himself is he can try to and does to some degree hide his own hatred of America whereas his wife is right out there with Mr Wright is showing her real feelings. These people are dangerous and should not be allowed anywhere near the WH or the head of this nation’s leadership. I hope he gets voted out of the senate when he comes up for the seat again.

US presidential hopeful Barack Obama has sought to tackle the issue of race and defuse a controversy over comments made by his former pastor. Typical modern day democrat politician empty headed pandering.
As POTUS, put the "button" in his hand, with a choice of push or don't push and the first thing that would cross his mind before pushing it would be "will pushing this button help me politically?"
