conservativegramma what you are trying to do is to force your to accept your dogma.

You have free agency to believe as you please, but when you keep posting mormon dogma and expecting it to stand unchallenged, you are in for resistance. Especially rankling is the posting of unBiblical passages from your mormon scriptures like the BOM and D&C and expecting it to be accepted.

IMO, (and that of others) you have free agency to post your opinions of the material posted by others, BUT when you continually post your unpleasant and false descriptions, opinions and judgments of other FReepers, your "free agency" has bumped up against the free agency of others. "

We are therefore allowed free agency to take offense. "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."

You can share or one can exchange their understanding but when one tries to take of away or become hostile towards another’s belief than they are venturing into unrighteous domination.

That is pure hogwash! "Unrighteous domination", my butt!

To quote about a jillion Freepers, "if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen!"

But neither you nor I am are in the position to correct another.

Excuse me but this is being taken out of context greyfoxx39

You did not post this part of the text which was in reference to "Again I have to correct you." ~ conservativegramma

I also have clarified that here when I said

The Lord gave us free will and I respect the fact you have your own understanding and opinion of other faiths.

****

[Which is find slam the LDS to your heart content!]

This last sentense is still in reference to trying to force one belief on another!

You can share or one can exchange their understanding but when one tries to take of away or become hostile towards another’s belief than they are venturing into unrighteous domination.

So you want to blast the LDS off the face of the earth in your opinion etc....

but unrighteous domination is telling someone else what to do and how to believe!

Thanks for the ping, greyfoxx. I have been astounded to see the level at which polygamy has been defended since this story broke last week. What has happened in Eldorado, TX is evil, vile, disgusting, and perverted, and IMO, there is NO defense for it.

I don’t want to appear to “unrighteously dominate” (whatever THAT means); however, I DO have “righteous anger” when I see quotes from “another testament of Jesus Christ” as well as other non-Biblical sources, claiming to be additional revelation from God Himself. Someone said (WAY up-thread) that what we (Christians) have is not true, we are limited in what we have and are able to do for salvation. That is so wrong. What we HAVE is the TRUE and COMPLETE Word of God. It is NOT limited.

It’s sad to see such incredible blindness to the truth of God’s Word. I am reminded of 2 Cor. 4:1-6.

“Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”

I pray God’s light will shine through the darkness.
