This is the area where one group of relatively peaceful Muslims have been fighting it out with a more radical group that is taking its orders from Bosnia (and ultimately Saudi Arabia).
The "we don't know if it's ethnic or religious intolerance" nonsense is typical B92 Soros nonsense.

The Riaset added that a desecration of any religious structure "sows the seeds of unrest", and that, "according to the Koran", it is "worse sin than murder". So when the Taliban blew up those ancient Buddhist statues in March of 2001 prior to blowing up the WTC in 2001, they committed an act worse than murder?
Did this Imam condemn the destruction of those statues?

Kosta’s gonna give you s**t for calling Rashka “Sandzak”. It’s like calling Kosovo “Kosova” or Knin “Krajina” and not Dalmatia :)

I'm hazy on the whole Balkans issue, being of the opinion as Bismark said that "The whole of the Balkans is not worth the bones of one good Pomeranian grenadier".
However, can anyone tell me why we are supporting the Kosovars against the Serbian people? The Serbs are Christian and were there long before the muslims came in the 1400's. The area is a hot bed of drug running terrorist activity so what the hell are we doing?

"It is unclear from Beta news agency's report if ethnic or religious intolerance was behind the incident. Oh Please..........what a crock. If it were any other religion except orthodox christian, there would be no question.

What is important to say is that the Church of Apostols st. Peter and st. Paul is found in VI century in early-byzantine period and rebuild in late IX or early X century, which means that it belongs to entire christianity the schism in Christianity happened in XI century - 1054. The first serbian king got his crown from Pope. The st. Peter and Paul church is one of most important buildings of cultural, architectural (rotonde church with galery of pre-romanic architectural school, beside st. Donat rotonde church in Zadar today Croatia, most important byzantine center in eastern Adriatic) and historical (residence of serbian episcops until 1219, when monestary Zicha was named to be residence of serbian archiepiscopy) treasures in Serbia, but also in whole christian Europe.
