Bill Cosby is a role model for Black kids. Unfortunately, most of the kids I know don’t even know who he is.

And while you’re pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, pull your pants up, too, would you? You look ridiculous.

The “bootstraps” metaphor doesn’t fit the group to which Cosby is talking.

They have so many built in, government enforced advantages, that all they have to do is actually WANT to try, and they’ll be two legs up on the next person.

We will never get rid of racism but we can negate some of its effects by eliminating the financial reward of race. People like Cosby are accomplished and successful as well as millions of all races by their own means. But, shysters like Jackson, Sharpton, etc, profit from stiring the racial pot and that needs to stop.

without having to wait on the consciences and attention spans of policy makers who might not have their interests at heart.

Policy makers that are overwhelmingly liberal, BTW. Which party has failed Black America?

““No longer is a person embarrassed because they’re pregnant without a husband,” he told the crowd.”

Have I missed something here? “A Person” does not get pregnant. A GIRL gets pregnant. Therefore, no need for the irrational third person plural pronoun plus contraction “they’re” —

“NO LONGER IS A GIRL EMBARASSED BECAUSE SHE’S PREGNANT WITHOUT A HUSBAND” is perfectly good standard English — and anatomy.

Cosby was an avowed race man, who, like much of his generation, had come to feel that black America had lost its way. The crisis of absentee fathers, the rise of black-on-black crime, and the spread of hip-hop all led Cosby to believe that, after the achievements of the 1960s, the black community was committing cultural suicide.

And Bill Cosby would be right.

The Democrat Party has successfully caged black America and now harvests guaranteed votes from the imprisoned urban population that believes only the Dems can prevent the lynchings from starting again. That the Republicans have been criminally incompetent in wooing and helping black Americans is part of the story. That black America has fully embraced a culture of sickening violence, mysogeny, child illegitimacy, drugs, and a permanent foul-tempered demanding that Whitey give them whatever they want is the third part.

Heck, A GIRL’s welfare check gets bigger if SHE’S pregnant without a husband, these days.

Libs are either EVIL, knowing this will be incentivized,

or STUPID, not knowing that this will be incentivized.

And why he had his OWN out of wedlock kid a few years ago.
Let me tell you a little anecdote from a few years ago.One of the little homies,in a candid outburst of anger, ran it all down for me regarding this “anti-woman” theme of so many rappers and black males in general. And I must censor some of the words.
“You wanna know why them rappers be hating on these women and calling them b——and s-—?Cuz they be seeing they mamas bringing home a new n—— to the house every m————— month, thats why.You think a n—— want to see his g——— mama laid up with some mf who then go around and beat HIS a— and his moms don’t do s-—?.
I think about that young “brother”every time I hear one of those gangsta rappers.

Mother and Father are illegal words. California has outlated them.

I bet the AP style guide forbids them too.

Hmm...since many Blacks want to assume the clothing styles of Africa and name themselves African names, perhaps we should all jump on board.

Tomorrow I’ll be coming to work dressed as the St. Pauli Girl and calling myself Heidi.

Getting a job and taking responsibility for themselves would actually make their situation worse.

In some ghetto and hiphop circles, it has come to be foolish for someone to work and try to better themselves......as if they are uncool for working a job or staying home with a family.

Context, context, context.

No longer is a person embarrassed because they’re pregnant without a husband,” he told the crowd. “No longer is a boy considered an embarrassment if he tries to run away from being the father of the unmarried child.”

Looks to me that he handled both sexes very well.

Nits you're picking at nits!

It IS foolish to work for some people.

If you can get “free” money for being “unemployed”, and you’d get less money working,

you’d be foolish to work.

This is an incentive that the left set up. Some support it with good intentions, others support it knowing what it actually does.
