Too bad about this sharia nonsense. Looks like they loose my business.

Me too. I used to really love Popeyes, but their quality control in the KC area has really gone to hell over the last few years. Even when I get a 2 for 1 coupon, I wind up wondering why I bothered. Church's Chicken is my favorite fast food chicken, and I got to one at least 2 or 3 times a month. I guess that's over.

I need to open up a Cuban restaurant around these parts. I miss getting a Cuban sandwich back in SoFla.

Where is "these parts?" There used to be ONE restaurant here in the KC area that had them... "El Caribe," by Lenexa City Hall. It was a great place to eat... Cuban sandwich, fried plantain chips, and conch fritters. But the ownership changed, and now it's a cross between a Jamacan and Mexican restaurant. And they got rid of the cuban sandwichs and conch fritters, though I believe they still have the plantains.

State-sponsored and imposed religion is worse than secularism, and the founding fathers knew that. That’s why separation of church and state exists in the first place.

Actually, you got part of this correct. The Constitution specifically forbade the federal government from interfering in religions, INCLUDING the official state religions. If you check the history, you'll find that the Constitution did NOT prohibit official state religions, and many states had them, long after the Constitution was ratified.

From what I've read, many more States had them early on, but by the time the Constitution Convention was convened, most had already abandoned them for the same reasons the Founders explicitly excluded them from the federal government. The practice doesn't seemed to have lasted long in the remaing states afterward. It's simply bad practice and doesn't make for good government.

In March 2005 First Islamic changed its name to Arcapita, 75 Fourteenth Street, Atlanta, GA 30309 www.arcapita.com ). Between 1997 and 2007 they completed 64 transactions with a transaction value of over $21 billion across our corporate, real estate, asset-based, and venture capital lines of business. Church’s is a small piece of their big pie.

Arcadia-Atlanta essentially implements and enforces Shari’ah Laws on its’ corporate clients. This is a team of Atlanta good old boys and girls knowingly or not, serve Allah and the cause of Islamic fundamentalism. This enables the Islamic camel’s nose entry into the tent of American society. Nice and very clueless Christian folks.

That is why I’ll never eat at Church’s Chicken again. I just got back from Kuwait and the Muslim’s did not want the word Church in big loud letters (they also have the logo in Arabic).

Its one thing when you can’t get anything but beef bacon on a Bacon Cheeseburger at Burger King, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, TGIF, etc... but to change the name of your establishment? Sell outs.

Its good to be back.

Okay, this might be stupid, but who goes to a fried chicken place to order pork, anyway?

There isn’t one fast food chain in the country that makes edible fried chicken. Other than making it yourself you can find some chinese places that actually make fresh fried chicken.

Thanks! 16 1/2 year run in the Middle East.

Saudi/Kuwait/Qatar/Kuwait 91 to 08... it really is great to be living in the land of the FRee again.

Wife comes home this weekend and I can’t wait to see her. She was going to college and skipped Saudi, but did the rest of the stretch and an extra month.
