The only commentator on FOX that would be interested in Sowell is Hannity, and he doesn’t usually want the guest to out shine him. It seems that if the guest goes too far beyond Hannity’s experience or thought, Hannity cuts him off.
He did that with the Black Ohio secretary of state when he tried to explain that believers in Black Liberation Theology oppose all use of military by the US, ALL use. In other words, Obama’s suggestion of peace talks is the only option that he would consider.

I suppose that’s true, though the morning duo seem not to be too proud to go in that direction.
I’m not sure that it is fair to suggest Sean avoids guests who are smarter than he is. After all, he regularly has Dick Morris on, who exceeds the collective intelligence of both hosts by a safe margin.
