You had every right to refuse the search without a warrant. If there was probable cause then he still has to get a warrant. If you were sited for not allowing him to search your car, then yes bring it up. If it has to do with the other two tickets then it has no bearing on those two tickets. Good luck and stand up for your rights. Good call on the fourth amendment.

It was a voluntary request. The driver refused. No search conducted. End of issue. No rights abused.

If there was probable cause the officer did NOT need a warrant.
The other tickets had nothing to do with the search. They were valid.

The officer needs only reasonable suspicion for the stop and Foxpro gave that in his description of his actions.

All in all it seemed a reasonable contact and conclusion.
