I’ve wondered about that. I can only hypothesize that the “9-11 was an inside job” crowd are attracted to any political leader who is seen as being open and honest.

I was a truther during the Clinton administration (ie. Waco etc), so I can sympathize with a genuine desire for accountability in gov’t, even if misguided. Can’t you?

Are you really that blind? there's a big difference between believing the FBI was responsible for WACO and believing bush was responsible for the twin towers.
