[Hillary] It's Over, When I Say It's Over. Not When Tim, George, Bob Or Chris Say It's Over

It appears the Clinton campaign is still going after NBC/MSNBC for their coverage of the candidiate. This time, they are targeting Tim Russert for telling viewers Tuesday night: "We now know who the Democratic nominee is going to be, and no one is going to dispute it."

Howard Kurtz writes today that Jay Carson, Clinton's press secretary, "fired off an e-mail yesterday to Chuck Todd, NBC's political director. While assuring Todd that he was 'not trying to be a jerk,' Carson wrote: 'Can you think of one good reason we should continue to cart you guys around the country with us given that your network has declared the entire race over?'"

Well, well. Of course, NBC and everyone else pays to be on the flights. And further, NBC was hardly the only network declaring it's over.

ABC's George Stephanopoulos, the same George Stephanopoulos who, because he once worked for Pres. Clinton, has been accused of being cozy with the campaign, made the declaration much earlier than his competitors. But the call went nearly unnoticed because Stephanopoulos said it during the west coast update of World News. At 9:33 ET (6:33 PT), Stephanopoulos told anchor Charlie Gibson:

"There is no math for her to come back. There's no realistic path for the nomination now for Hillary Clinton. Barring some kind of revelation, that drops Obama from the race, he is going to be the nominee." Mind you, that was almost three hours and 45 minutes before ABC, NBC, FNC and CNN called Indiana for Clinton.

Watching the Clinton's slowly twist in the wind is giving me much pleasure. I hope at long last the American people will not have to put up with this pathetic couple. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

RUSH: Stay in the Race, Mrs. Clinton; Investigate the Undemocratic DNC!

RUSH:...So another pretty phony, another little GQ-type phony is lifted to the top while the woman is treated like a broken-down mule. Hillary Clinton stood by her man in the worst of times. As a working mother, she raised the family; she kept a roof over their heads, 'cause her husband only earned 26 grand as governor of Arkansas. She had to go to the Rose Law Firm. She had to make the six-figure income. She had to put her career on the line with the cattle futures! She had to get to know these assorted and sundry characters like Vince Foster and Web Hubbell. She had her reputation maligned in Whitewater. She was humiliated daily with philandering by her husband that was open and in the public. She still did the laundry; she still cleaned everything up. Every mess, Hillary Clinton cleaned up. After all she put up with -- the lies, the cheating, the lies, the more cheating, the humiliation -- not to mention being dragged from the feminist capital of Wellesley and Yale in the northeast to Arkansas!

What did her own husband do last night? He stood behind her, as though he had been out in the sun all day getting a bad sunburn, and he looked bored. He looked disinterested; he looked depressed, as she faced the cameras vowing to press on after losing North Carolina. He didn't help her last night. He could have had a smile on his face. But he purposely looked forlorn. He wanted to convey with his facial expression the abject depression and disappointment that the campaign was feeling. He talked about himself, ladies, this entire campaign. Never about her. He tried to derail her candidacy with this race card business in South Carolina. Bill Clinton treated his wife's quest like it was just an afterthought, and perhaps even a threat, to his own legacy. And after all the messes that she's cleaned up and after all the humiliation she has suffered; after all the laundry she has done, after raising Chelsea, after consorting with unsavory characters, after going to work to become the family breadwinner; he stands behind her last night looking bored. This is the second run-in with Russert that Hill has had. Recall that Tim started her decline months ago with his tough and persistent questioning over the ill-fated Spitzer licenses-for-illegals plan. She never recovered from that.

Right. Once Evita and the former ‘Mr. No Pants President’ are no longer the spoiled darlings of the MSM you will be treated to an exact inventory of all the bones in all the closets at the Clinton ‘establishment’... Can’t wait! Maybe some people will be shocked, not me!

Maybe so but me, I can’t see it. This seems to be as taboo as talking about Obama’s middle name. Why didn’t the Annointed One, BHO, go after these skeletons when it would have served his needs? There must be a MAD - mutual assured destruction aka scorched earth.

The clintons will go nuclear on anyone who goes nuclear on them. I don’t claim to know how all of this works, but my sense is that the clinton crimes will never see the light of day.

Just as you can tell a big enough lie and get people to believe you - you can commit a big enough crime and never have to answer for it.

If Obama gets the nomination it will have meant that the Clinton's power has waned.
I did not say that it was going to go away, only that it has finally began to weaken after many years.

The "Clintons".. finally their fade into the past has begun. They had their turn.. and it's ending

do you really think that there will be strong support for Hillary in ‘12 among Democrats for her to try again?

No. Democrats always turn on their failed standard bearers like a rabid pack of wild dogs.

But that reality doesn't matter. What matters is how delusional Evillary is. I'm convinced she is so delusional that she believes she could win in 2012 and will destroy Obamayomama now to ensure her next shot at the Presidency.

Must...buy...more...popcorn!!!
