It wasn't just Barack Obama's candidacy that John Edwards endorsed tonight. It was also the worldview that sees the United States as a "bully." Consider these lines from Edwards just-completed speech.
JOHN EDWARDS: There's also a wall that's divided our image in the world. The America as the beacon of hope is behind that wall. And all the world sees now is a bully. They see Iraq, Guantanamo, secret prison, and a government that argues that waterboarding is not torture [lusty booing from the crowd]. This is not OK. That wall has to come down. For the sake of our ideals and our security. We can change this. We can change it. Yes, we can.
Note that Edwards wasn't saying the America-haters of the world are wrong. To the contrary, he was clearly seconding their view of the US as a bully, for the supposed crimes he enumerated. For a moment there, I thought Edwards might be on the verge of a "God bless America? No, no, no" of his own. Is this really the kind of endorsement Senator 57-states needs?

What would this tool say if a dirty bomb goes off in his precious little home state and it's revealed that waterboarding could have prevented it?

It is interesting. The democrat leadership is absolutely packed with inexperienced legislators, or in this case, defeated former legislators, with no international experience AT ALL. Nonetheless, they feel free to express themselves openly about things that they know nothing about. This guy is a real zero in terms of legislative experience, international affairs, and even state experience. Yet he is shoveling this crap out as if he know something about it. We clearly do not have the type of talent working in service to our government that we deserve to have.
Oh yeah, John Edwards is just what Obama needs to rope in those dumb gun toting’ God believin’ voters.

You are correct. I would only add that liberals define a problem in such a way that the only solution involves them and more government.
If this bunch of idiots gets in power because conservatives don’t vote for McCain..they deserve the tax increases, gun grabing, humilitation and general bullshit that will come.
This is about National survival. We stand a little chance with McCain, but no chance with Osbama and this silky pony.
Actually, Mr. Edwards, we are soooo far from being an international bully that we allow countless evils to go unchecked because Quisling weasels like YOU won’t allow us to do anything most of the time. We should obliterate the Iranian regime so thoroughly that their successors cannot imagine sending weapons and terrorists against us, but instead we treat them with kid gloves because all the libtard weasels of the world say we should.

Political figureheads in general are becoming a joke and not statesmen of direction.
We have no direction to follow anymore and our national sovereignty is being lost because of it.
It's getting to the point of voting isn't a worthy effort for they are all becoming the same, just at different levels.

And Heaven forbid we defend ourselves. I wonder what will happen under President Obama if the terrorists strike again in the US, I shudder to think. Perhaps he will say “can’t I just finish my waffle?” Sadly so many Americans have been brainwashed into thinking we are the bad guy that many will probably think we deserved it, and it’s our fault.
