My very best wishes to Jim and family for a quick and comfortable recovery. Courage and strength to you all.
Lord,
Please bestow your blessings on the Brave American Patriot Jim Robinson during this time of trial for him.
Lord hear our prayers.
I know Jim pretty well, and he’s a tough old coot. He’s not a complainer in the least.
He deals well with what life has dealt him, far better than most of probably would have.
He might complain if they had to cut off his fingers and he could no longer type. But I’d bet he’d figure a way around that.
I pray for his recovery, but I don’t know that I need to pray for his strength. He’s always had that.
God's Healing and Peace for you my FRiend.
In agreement with you.
Prayers up. I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow, Jim. Godspeed.
Lord, let your eyes and knowledge guide the earthly surgeon’s hands. Protect our FRiend Jim Robinson and return him to us. This we pray,
AMEN
Prayers all goes well tomorrow and a swift and speedy recovery !
Looking forward to your surgery going well and a speedy recovery so we can see you back here soon!
Joining in prayer...
Jim, you have my continued prays.
While I haven’t always agreed with you, I see you as a good man trying to make a difference...so you need to fight through all of this and heal....a ton of folks need you.
On May 4th, one year ago, doctors cut into my chest and removed a sack that was restricting my heart. I also needed a triple bypass. They could only do one bypass, due to poor veins in my legs. I had a stroke effecting my left side during surgery and I contracted MRSA. They cut into my chest 4 times...my entire body was ravaged.
What was supposed to be an 8 to 10 day stay in the hospital, turned out to be 2 long months, followed up with being homebound for another 3 months with nurses showing up 4 times a week. I lost over 100 pounds during my stay in the hospital and came home with a tube in my gut for feeding and a pic in my arm for antibiotics and blood draws. I have since had another bout with MRSA, but again, the power of prayer and, well, my never give up attitude won this battle too.
It is not like me to ask others to pray for me, but on this occasion I did and I believe that those prayers helped to get God to assist the doctors that were working on me. The folks that prayed for me were mostly strangers and represented churches from 5 different denominations in the area where I live.
While I continue to be less than I want to be, I do continue to mend both physically and in spirit. So far, I am 6 1/2 months past my “pull date”. ;>)
Jim, if I can make it through what was tossed at me, I know that you can. I will pray for you until I read that you are well again.
Adding my prayers as well
Prayers going into overdrive.
One thing you don't have to worry about is friends - those you have in spades!
Jim has his laptop in the room, but he is not allowed to use it, except downstairs in one area. So Jim will be online once he is allowed downstairs. That should be in a few day.
